used to be good... especially for lures. now, not so...some idiots catch and bring back those tomans... u can try those pacus tho. unless u;re into fly fishing..then would be great for some peacockbass.

fish got many types...depending how lucky u are...caught a 3kg barracuda land based popping.

as long as it's a beach or some place rocky where u can fish can liao....

be warn... Im a real real real noob... dont know much about this pond fishing and I just got my rod.. I however did some sea fishing(or surf fishing) back in sabah.. now Im in KL studying and couldnt hold back my crave for the rod bending and reel screaming!

just buy any reel.. I usually buy those cheap reels from the kepong tackle shop.. those they throw on the table one.. less than RM30..

the other day I went I got a daiwa reel..

need to test it yourself before you buy oh.. whether still smooth or not.. some reels there are no more smooth and some are bend.. but some of the reels condition is still very good..

you mean buying the second hand reels and rods? i was thinking of an affordable rods as it's lighter and can help me with my casting... but there are so many rods out in the market -.-

i just wondering that if i have a 9ft Fiber boat that wish to transport by my wira to somewhere else for fishing and is there any permit need to apply from JPJ site ??

Me and my friends wish to get a taste of Peacock Bass at air kuning, but zero knowledge on direction and port.

Can sifoo here guide us from kl to air kuning fishing port. Oh yeah we have a small boat too and prefer places that easy to load boat and not too bumpy road as we only driving wira.
