minimum... 10lbs..those otais there in sealion use 10lbs

20lbs can play..but dun play near water pump and water pipe.

40lbs, just nice

unless u are pond 5 kaki (now not so much biggies like 30kg long tan...) 60lbs lo... usuallly if long tan hunting, they use float method.

my conclusion would be 10lbs-30lbs for casting method, 40lbs onwards....float or bottom method.

it's hard to show u where on wikimapia coz it's covered by cloud. last year they have banners along the road for us to follow in. but if u're on your way to sealion...from kesas..after passing teluk gong etc..nearing to sealion, there's the railway crossing right? on reaching the railway crossing, keep right and turn right at the traffic light..that's kampung delek area already..problem is i too followed the banner. not sure whether it's still there or not. i've only been there once to survey only..din manage to fish.

fri 11am - going to kepong tackles to stock up some white rabbit jigs. sat & sun - not fishing... mayb wed.

added : yipee..caught 3 siakap ystd at kemuning.. a friend from SL2 called say they release a few nagas..so bite rate was low.

3 siakaps but no tag siakap

it's normal to hook on roots, plants and plastic bags while fishing be patient and u will be rewarded

btw, how much is laguna rate? haven't been there fishing before..would like to try

just cancelled my trip up north..

tenggiri i heard end of season already. plus if want to be there, we need to stay few days there coz unsure when tenggiri masuk...if they dun come in, SPK on the boat.

can rent boat to penang bridge, they will drop u at the bottom of penang bridge, not sure pillar no 32 or something, there have the most fish...ang cho, senangin, etc... was hauled up there. depends on luck. the island itself, not sure...coz haven't been there for ages.

of course when u engage them to send u there, you either set time with them or ask for the handphone number of the boatman.. lots of people fishing there anyway

i know..ebek raging in pekan now they all going during cny...

so, chap goh meh season wan make trip to pekan?
