I just plan the purpose of credit card to use on petrol & purchase some computer & electronic stuff only. Normally the computer shop just accept the maybank credit card only.    Anyone know about the maybank credit card requirement for the application?

I've no idea Y HSBC rejected ur application.  Also, Citibank CS are different from Citibank-related-tele-marketers so if those people are rude, it's got nothing to do with Citibank CS.

For those who want to know minimum requirements, go check it out on the banks' website - it's all there.  It's difficult for us to let u know what the minimum is because different cards have different criterias!

As i know Maybank Credit card is quite hard to apply one! Some more im not qualify because the minimum salary is 2000 / months

Yeah those telemarketers are prolly onli given ur name & contact number; nothing else related to ur account so can't quite blame them but I do agree with U.  I used to get a lot of calls from Citibank and I would speak with them because they tell me they're calling from Citibank so I walk out of the meeting and hear them out only to know they're calling me with regards to some other product *sigh*

Not interest with debit card!  Debit card can be pay by installment?

And if he doesn't have RM2k then don't go about applying for one until he meets the minimum requirement - otherwise he's going to start collecting debts.  CC isn't supposed to be something glamourous where U flash around for ur friends to see that U haf one

Yes most credit cards would have an annual fee save for DA.

I don't see a rush for U to get a CC - r U oredi working?!  You're just 21 so build ur career first lah
