@jeff_ckf,
I believe the E-Statements are combined hence U are able to view all the statements.  As to Account Summary, U should onli be able to view the Account ur logged onto.
*
uhh, I thought the login is universal? It is listed that the Accounts Summary should contain ALL of my accounts...so why is it not showing tongue.gif

@jeff_ckf,
No, the logins aren't universal - there is this one universal login though but I haven't activated mine as yet.  If U login through a particular card, u will onli be able to do transactions using that card.
*
Now that you mentioned it, I only did create an account for the Choice Card. And when I saw that the Shell Card was sending E-Statements as well I neglected the thing. Does that mean I need to register for a new account login? Although I am asking just out of sheer curiosity coz I'm going to axe the Shell card soon anyway icon_rolleyes.gif

@vin_ann,
U shouldn't be too surprised if ur number's circulating out there in the market place.  Sometimes it could just be a cold call where they're hoping to get some biz smile.gif

I get lots of calls esp from Hotels asking me to join their membership programme and sometimes wonder where they obtained my number from but I've given up asking them how they got my number so I usually just declined the calls.
*
The source is actually the employees of the hotels themselves. I get the same thing for insurance, education courses and anything you can think of. As long as you are registered, the competitor for the company that you purchased the item/service from will swoop in like a vulture.

@jeff_ckf,
Act, most of the time ur friends would have referred U smile.gif  Anyhow, I learnt not to waste their time so if I'm not interested I just tell them thank U v much and that I'm not interested.
*
Umm...but I don't get call for credit cards. I only get letters offering this offering that and bla bla bla. And I noticed they are all pertaining to the service that I am currently subscribing to. E.g. my insurance currently is XXX then one day brand YYY sends me a letter with a supposed "better deal". But like vin_ann mentioned, recently it has become much much lesser. thumbup.gif

And yea, I just tell them to call someone else on their list coz I'm not interested tongue.gif

about CC CS.. its undeniable foreign bank are 10X(or more) better than our local banks...

I have alot of bad experiences about calling up local bank's CC CS...

one of it is...the phone system will indicate you... "press 1 for english, press 2 for malay, press 3 for chinese"

But no matter I press 1,2 or 3.. normally the CS pickup the phone will say...
"Hello,Saya ****, Apa Boleh saya bantu?"

I'm gonna try and pump at the Shell station near my workplace after I get off from work later. See if the rumor is true brows.gif I doubt it though coz if it is true I am gonna call up Citibank to tell them to save the Shell card for their own use rclxms.gif

It's not been activated as yet, isn't it?  It was just a 'suggestion', of which I believe will only cause inconvenience to the People.
*
Nowadays, if there is not much ppl there, I better pump full (you'll never know when things can suddenly be 'announced' brows.gif . Since my tank also left 1/4 tank only. Anyway, I pumped at the Shell station near my work place and no problemo with the credit card biggrin.gif

Hi all,

I heard over the radio says petrol station "might" no longer accepting credit cards??
*
It seems they would enforce it today for certain stations. Not sure if it will be nationwide. Luckily I pumped yesterday full tank coz I know such 'announcements' can be made brows.gif

Anyway the news can be found here: http://thestar.com.my/news/story.asp?file=...1421&sec=nation

@arsenal,
If it's to make payment via MyKad that's fine; not Touch N Go, IMHO.  I wouldn't want to be topping up $ in MyKad so I guess I'll just have to carry cash with me *sigh*

Time to upgrade to a bigger wallet/purse brows.gif

@jeff_ckf,
In that case, U shouldn't need to worry about how much card slots U haf in that new wallet right?!  And don't forget, U'll need one for NRIC and Driving License, etc etc.

iYah just get the conventional man wallet; with card slots and no coin slots - coins are too heavy and sloppy.  Just put the coins in ur pocket and transfer it to the car when u get into the car biggrin.gif

Alright.. I'm going for a long lunch @ 1U now.  Ta!  rclxm9.gif
*
Have a good one. And yes, NRIC and license are there by default in most wallets. I never have a place for coins in my wallet since secondary school smile.gif

@tinkerbel,
Shell Citibank card gives you 3% rebate on shell petrol. So, I don't think they gonna give you anymore points. They also give 1.5% rebate for other merchandise if not mistaken.
*
Shell Citibank Classic
Fuel - 1.5%
Other spending - 0.5%

Shell Citibank Gold
Fuel - 2.5%
Other spending - 0.75%

These card DO NOT give out points

I have a dumb question!

May i know the minimum requirement to apply a credit card? Thanks!  icon_question.gif
*
It is not a dumb question. And the requirements are normally minimum RM 1.5k of income (excluding OT and allowance). You normally need 3 months payslip that can proof this figure and sometimes a confirmation letter from your employer (although not mandatory) smile.gif

@SnoWFisH

Citibank's sure knows how to target the market tongue.gif

Now economy in a bad state so MOST people would be interested in discounts and rebates rather than exclusive privileges.

Ok. Show i need to prepare 3 months payslip first. May i know what is the different with VISA / MASTER?
*
They are just different companies smile.gif Most merchants accept them both although I believe there used to be a time in Malaysia when Master was preferred. Those days are long gone I believe.

Try to apply for a card that suits your preference. Meaning, if you love to travel, you might consider Citibank AirAsia card, and if you like fine dining, you can apply HSBC's as they give pretty good discount on food. There are many others in the market...just do some surveying before you apply
