Out of topic already guys tongue.gif Let's just hope he gets over his debt problem. Some people I know really have NO discipline whatsoever. My friend admits he is one of these people so he do not want to get any credit card and prefers to carry alot of cash around sweat.gif

So it means that it is best that I should open a savings account with Citibank, put some money there and pay the CC using Citibank savings account?

I heard the minimum amount to open an account with Citibank is RM 5k. Thought you might be interested to know

@Syd G,
The Choice card is not worth it cause if U don't use the card at least twice a month U'll be charge a monthly fee.

Pumping petrol already twice. As for me, I'm even more hardcore, I just swipe twice for one petrol filling tongue.gif

@vin_ann,
Important thing is U pay up the entire sum, right?!  I still want to know Y Citibank started it off @ 18% and not 15% since the last 6 months I been prompt and have paid in full.
*
Does it really matter to you tinkerbel brows.gif Unless you plan to 'enjoy' such benefit. And don't give me that consumer rights bs again hahahahah

@jeff_ckf,
It's not about consumer rights, it's not about whether i'm going to be "enjoying" such benefits.  It's all about principles.  I'm going to go call them when I get back to the office after this morning's meeting before my afternoon meet biggrin.gif

At least I get to TRY out their Platinum Priority line tongue.gif

@jeff_ckf,
Me?! Show off?! I'm not the one who plastered 4 Platinum cards tongue.gif

@vin_ann,
Citibank tells me it's because I made a late payment in the month of Jan.  I am arguing with them to tell them it's not possible and told them to check.  How on earth could I have made a late payment and not know about it ! *argh*
*
Citibank is crapping tinkerbel. I just got their e-statements and I too have the 18% thingee.....and I always pay up early and extra. So they are definitely trying to just get away by telling some phony fairy tale. GO CHASE THEM thumbup.gif

So how many plat cards do you plaster? biggrin.gif

Hi all, just a question, do I need to inform DA and Citibank that I will be using my credit cards overseas soon? Or they will be able to process my transaction overseas without any notification? They will bill me in the domestic currency and convert it back to ringgit correct? Which one has better terms or rates? Thanks

The best practice is to give them a call to notify them that you're going to use at which country for how long. This is what I got after I discussed with a HSBC CSE last Friday.

Ya I most probably would. Just asking what is their official stand only since it is stated "Valid Worldwide" tongue.gif About time for them to permanently increase my CL as well since I havent got a raise of CL since the first day I got my paycheck hahhaha icon_idea.gif
