That is not an introduction.... It'll be dangerous if Sheltie got out of his cage and met the cat.

Happens to all owners of young GPs. Girl Girl and Kiki used to pee without warning too. Ahh... The countless shirts I had to change cuz of Micheri. Especially her since she likes to drink.

Guys have you guys encountered a case in which a GP will start barbering herself? Girl Girl has barber symptoms on her but no one else lives with her so she could only have barbered herself. The vet checked and said there's no visible fungus or lice or mites under the microscope and yet she's still barbering herself. The vet even p ut cream and gave her a shot for lice and mites but she's still doing it. Why ar???

I think it is bored. Give more hay and maybe something to entertain itself. Like some cardboard boxes.
*
I hope it's just barbering... There are parts of her skin that are pink cuz look hairless. I'm afraid it's something else.

Wah Mooz, wat a beautiful DIY cage! But my Micheri cannot use. If I put her in this case she'll go missing in the morning. It looks a lil shallow and Micheri can stretch and jump quite high.

oh~~ this is a vry good pcs of infor~~
thanks for sharing ur experience...
i'll try to intro them wth salad too...

Why don't you try them on some sweet veges first? Like carrots? GPs seem to instantly like these. I find that they like corn leaves (the green ones wrapped around the corn) and also the yellow hairy part of the corn. They also take well to tomatoes. Just don give too much tomatoes.

is there any suggestion tat shd we choose the hay which is more leaves, or with more sticks?

My GPs take more hay when we give it to them in the form of timothy leaves.

really jamien, they can eat corn leaves? why I dunno dat tongue.gif . What jamien said was right, carrot , tomatoes  are good choice. Before u give to them better u chop it first. easy for them to eat. Some of the carrot give them some of it keep in the fridge. So no waste if they refuse to eat.
*
smile.gif Ya they can eat. I checked on some website before I feed. The corn leaves smell like corn so they like it a lot, especially the yellow hairy part. It's also a lot less sweet than the actual corn. Everytime I give them sure finish. And they choose it over some other green leafy vegetables I give them. doh.gif

PS: Feed organic ones lar. Then no neeed to scared chemicals on the leaves u feed them.

oh jamien...
i saw u said "Just don give too much tomatoes."
y? i thought vit C is their essence, then tomatoes should be the priority choice for them?

Added on May 19, 2008, 3:30 pm

wat is sawi?  rclxub.gif
*
smile.gif Cuz we must be careful that they won't get diarrhea. Tomato is very wet mar. Other leafy greens can also give good vitamin c. Tomatoes have more vitamin A wat. No? hmm.gif
