Can SLI after mod?

i think can gua. Anyway I find it weird that the motherboard would play a factor...why should it? Unless there was some configuration of feature of ksking's mobo that allowed him to use his card. A successful flash should work no matter what the mobo is...

maybe it has something to do with the mobo's PCIE lane? david yours is x8 is it?

i think if you can, wait a few more weeks when the 4xxx series launch. Then prices will be dropping left and right. I myself am planning to sell off my 9600GSO if the performance is not what I expect after OC.

Got mine. Flashed to GTS was no go...booted windows with static color

Flashed to 8800GT. boot to windows

I think highly oc can compete with 8800GT. The card should easily reach 700/1836/2200.

same problem as the other forumer la is it? he can boot into windows but when he use gpu-z it shows that no gc is present...

I think kucing meant flashed alright but errors start to come when installing the drivers. GPU-Z reads based on the drivers so well.. of coz it doesn't show up on GPU-Z as there's no driver installed yet

Need to mod driver as well? Using riva tuner is a possibility then.

yaa i guess muz b some device ID thingy. I'm not familiar myself with this VGA flashing.

Another thing, now i cant seem to reflash back the original 9600gso bios to the 1st bios chip. I saved the original bios using the backup 2nd bios chip. But it would still display the previous 8800gt bios that i was using earlier. Can anyone upload the GPUZ extracted bios from the 1st bios chip for me?
