I wish I could but the game keeps freezing when I log into PSN. Tried to MP so many times. Scared to keep restarting.

where's the quality control

so far i experience freezing only when i'm connecting to internet.

I hope R* will eventually come up with a MP patch or something, so that we can enjoy MP !!!

i find it really weird that practically NONE of the early batch of reviews mentioned anything about this freezing issue. i've already experienced it twice, really disappointed with R* testing and supposedly this game cost USD100 million to create. sheesh!

the reason why none of the reviews had this or sony or microsoft for tat fact was because thy DONT hv a HUGE database of GTA4 users.. now whn everyone flooded the system.. this is wat u get..
same thing like warhawk whn it was first launched.. the system couldnt take it and broke down.. reason being whn u sign in psn and load MP yr score and stuff gets uploaded to the server.. if its full how thy proceed thn? maybe rockstar didnt see tat coming..

You guys with the freezing issue -- can you state what version of the PS3 you have, including which disc version of GTA IV (pal, ntsc, limited edition, standard) -- that might help to isolate the problem.

You guys can also try swapping your discs -- i heard exchanging it for a new one helped some people.

I think this is also one of the factors. I think there r multiple factors contributing to the freezing issue. GTA4 players frustrated by gaming freezing issues.

Btw, Asian console - 40GB. Freezes during loading screen. Solved by disabling internet connection.

40gb console freezing issue can be sorted out with signing out your PSN ID instead. game is yet to impress me lol

yeah that true..i also experience that and afraid to keep restart..
one of solution is try to sign out PSN but the setback cannot play online...

sometimes can play online suddenly hang during playing....

hope for patch

last night first time I playing half-way kena hang ... have to shut down my PS3 and reboot again
