Cheapest I've found in Malaysia is in Langkawi. Even when compared to other duty free islands like Tioman and Labuan.

Buy from more reputable chains to reduce likelyhood of landing with a counterfeit. Poor reputation comes back to bite the shops, and bigger chains can't afford that. So far, bottles that I bring across on my monthly trips are safe. Yamazaki, Glen-xxx, Mckellan, wines....

Hardly any stories of low grade or counterfeit beer these days. Margins too small.

I usually buy mine at Pat Seong Wine Merchant in Old Town, PJ.
They don't sell beers though, just liquor

Hie marcocwp! I'm looking for Johnnie Walker's Blue label. Do you have them and if so, how much per bottle? I want three (3).

By "cheap", how "cheap"?

Is it like "dirt cheap" if compared to winery suppliers here in town?

My friend is going to Langkawi this Christmas and if it's really cheap there then i intend to have him purchase some liquors for me.
