I would like to know as well. How to identify fake Martell Cordon Bleu?
*
There is a 3 digit code on the seal and on the bottle. The 3 digit no has to match with the bottle no to determine it is genuine cordon blue. If someone can sell you rm300 plus a bottle for cordon blue it is definitely fake.

The no is quite obvious on the seal but the no on the bottle is sand blast so need to see it under bright environment.

I can get a bottle of Cordon Blue at Taipei airport slightly over RM300 brows.gif Imagine the price if I get it direct smile.gif

But from what I heard, there are "inside" routes to liquor at very good prices, and Im not talking about fake ones. My friend does not want to reveal his contacts as thats his bread and butter. I have tasted afew bottles, and I can assure is genuine.

Btw, where is your showroom, can drop by and have a look at your wine collection brows.gif Plan to get a nice red for my Anniversary in Sept.

Hennessy vsop and martell vsop does not have a code to identify whether it is fake or original. The best is to buy from authorised wholesaler. If you can get duty paid hennessy vsop below rm160 it is probably fake because moet hennessy just had a price increase in march. Martell vsop below rm140 is fake.

There are alot of fake brandy n whisky outside and ppl who sell fake usually will tell you it is stock from custom or langkawi and etc. try to avoid buying from ppl who dont have a shop and deliver to your door step. Buy from authorised distributor to avoid getting fake stuff.

As the bottle you cant really tell the difference because fake liquor will use original bottle to refill. best is to look at the seal and original seal is very tidy and neat.

Not everyone is as bad as you said, 1 bad guy doesn't mean the whole world is bad, be positive.

I'm a wine advisor, do not own an office/shop because i do not have the capital to do so, do delivery to doorstep, and i have yet to receive any negative feedbacks, most customer are quite happy because they don't have to drive, stuck in jam and look for my location, just a phone call, whatsapp or whatever, and the wine will be deliver to them.

What I am referring to is brandy and whisky but not wine. As we know there are a lot of fake branded brandy and whisky in the market and people are conned by these seller who sell non genuine bottle.

There are people too who sell online and does not own a store. However my point is to highlight the tactics and ways fake reseller sell their product. Recently there are a lot of liquor and wine shop mushrooming in klang valley and just beware and double check on the items you are buying.
