bringing this topic alive again, i will be going for this interview tom. i m quite tempted with the salary + allowance... but from what i read here, its has a high turnover because of the pressure. but can i know what sort of pressure?

Pressure from 12-14+ hour work days, colleagues, your manager, customers, business partner, and your output. You need to output X amount each hour, continuously.

It is actually a good place to toughen yourself up and learn self discipline. tongue.gif biggrin.gif

dont worry
ocbc is a good company. n the $$$ is fabulous. y r u scared bout pressure or politics? 4 sure if u start working, both of these r common thgs. think urself as a better person. if u working there 4 few mnths n after that u r tart looking 4 another job, u'll end up as a job hopper 4 all ur life.

Yes penalty of RM2.2k or something, can't really remember. I think two ladies called Veena and Harjinder will be interviewing you tomorrow. They're in charge of screening interviewees, and then if you pass this round, the 2nd interview will be by the E2 HR people. That's for later. What you need to prepare for tomorrow is a basic knowledge of banking terms, and good writing skills. You will be required to write a letter and do some basic maths, and answer a 'pretend' phone call.

I was called up for the 3rd interview but decided not to take it up. You have to decide for yourself if you're suited to the job scope. Good luck smile.gif

Just started here. 5 days went away and it was intense. Stressful too since they really cramp in a lot of product knowledge. Been shitting blood for 4 days ahead. T__T

I went for the interview last year (that time went for 2 interview on the same month), there are 2 interviewer in a room. But basically, the first question is tell me abt yourself, later on the next question 'will you able to endure a frustrated customer call in & start scolding, cursing you and even your family? For sure they ask that cos it's a customer service job, that require high level of endurance. Basically, e2 serve customer from Msia & Spore. They ask abt your personal knowledge abt their banking products. It's better if you spend some time to search more abt OCBC background & product b4 you went for the interview. Hope it help.

Good luck for your upcoming interview. Cheers thumbup.gif

Unfortunately I didn't make it to 3rd interview. Actually I already know the result after the interview, my own instinct. It's not really difficult, it's the matter on how you perform during the interview. Be calm and cool, you surely get the job, don't worry too much. Good luck!!!!!!!! thumbup.gif biggrin.gif
