Hello everyone,

Am a new owner of P1i since last week. Great resources you guys have put up together here and only 1 week of ownership already I benefited a lot from your guidance. Lucky for me, all the FW flash, SW installation (WM3.0 & stuff) went pretty smoothly w/o any issue. All I did was follow the step-by-step instructions exactly as told smile.gif.

Well, I'd like to share something which some of you guys might be interested of:

1. Connect internet on your P1i using Desktop internet connection (Internet sharing)
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

2. Slick Messenger (Yahoo, ICQ, AIM, MSN, GTalk, Jabber)
It's not running on Java therefore consume less battery power. Try it out and let us know what you think. I have it on mine and love using it. (Note that this is chat only application. If you want to make calls then fring is the way to go wink.gif
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

3. About fring application, you could also download it to your PC as an alternative option of the sms. Just fill in your info and on the third page just click 'No I didn't get it' and it brings you to the page where you can download.
Picture:

That's all for now. Again, thanks to everyone for making this a fun ride for me. Please include my name as a new proud owner of P1i.

it comes with lifetime warranty but u need to keep the original tag and proof of purchase to claim it.
it covers material and manufacturing defects, which includes the fabric, stitching and zip  icon_rolleyes.gif

and just an extra info, the golla sales link provided above comes with no warranty as stated by seller and hence the cheap price

hi there,

I've one question re this product, how do you attach the neck strap to the pouch? do u tie the knot? any picture to share is very much appreciated? i got one yesterday, up until now i'm still in the process of figuring out how to use the neck strap..

thanks in advance smile.gif

Just wonder, have anyone with good experience with pdf+?

I tried to view some pdf files using the application, the text shown after "wrap" is very bad. Its the font size or the alignment messed up.

Maybe I should look for alternative software and give it a try.

You might wanna try DocumentsToGo, the *cough* version though. Its not free.

You should say china phones design are similar to our phone shakehead.gif

China is famous for its imitation phones which are sold to the "smaller budget" consumers who wanna look great but have no $$ to buy the real substance.
All flash no substance

That isn't the latest firmware.
THat's singapore firmware, you will not lose ur chinese input/display if u flash to latest firmware.

My P1i was on that firmware too when I bought it last week.
Just flash it to R9K009 smile.gif

carbon14, UIQ documentstogo doens't support pdf though.
I will continue my search for a better software than pdf+

For your case, you don't need to do any CDA flashing.
All you have to do is directly hook your phone with SEUS, and will get it done in no time. smile.gif
