QUOTE(8tvt @ Jul 15 2008, 09:32 AM) i wouldn't go for any 9xxx'e' chip if i were u bro, they are not meant for oc, more on preservin our mother earth. QUOTE(cyloh @ Jul 15 2008, 11:04 AM) definately one of d best board for quaddies besides asus 790fx & dfi ut/dk... QUOTE(8tvt @ Jul 15 2008, 02:38 PM) nope trying to search info on it.. as mentioned, forget bout oc if ur gettin yaself an 'e' chip. i reckon d price of 9950be now is very near to 9850be, so d best bet is grab those 2nd 9850be if happened u can find one. 9550 worth a try thou imo considerin it's price... why not see any X2 4050e n 4850e? that one 45W and G2.. if can oc well then nice.. QUOTE(AMDAthlon @ Jul 15 2008, 07:55 PM) i dun think that's prime stable. u aint wanna run a nuke reactor in ya room (if happened ya rig is in ya room). @ 1.48v, u can use d wc as water heater ledi... average prime stable (all cores) clock for 9850be is around 2.9~3.0GHz, that's what i can observed in xs w/ most of them on k9a2 plat. other than d temp of d chip, one need to take k of pwm temp. it gets alot hotter if ur on quaddies (even a 95w like mine) compared to x2. |

Yeah hunting for the BE but not in a rush cause you might never know if SB750 mobo will turn our B2's to something good did u add any other voltages (apart from vcore) in order to be prime stable? |

I guess we have to take a passive stance and see how this "platform" story plays out for us.did u add any other voltages (apart from vcore) in order to be prime stable? Owh, increased memory to 2v from 1.95v ( not sure if that is really needed.. i'm noob in memory ) and nothing else besides vcore to go with it. |

huh.. only MSI give the good space for quad gpu..
who knows if the 9150e n 9350e can OC well since the reviewers doing on 780 chip n not in high voltage.. all doing in stock voltage merely hike 400-500mhz increament.. atleast can spare 200mhz more is enough.. already like 9950.. |
