if ur referrin to intel quaddies which can clock very high, yes, it does help, but amd quaddies, i'm affraid current dual core can do better their successor...  sad.gif

ya, really feel rclxub.gif with amd quadies.. i wish they come out with a stronger x2 rather than the current quadies doh.gif

Vdroop is meant for intel procs only? . . . dp correct me if im wrong. Prob now is, my bios is set 1.55vcore, but in everest, cpu-z n asus ai booster only shows 1.49-1.52 only . . . could that fluctuating voltage cause system instability?

I dont think Vdroop for Intel only,AMD also have.Yes i think that causes system instability. The causes?I dont really know.Either it causes by PSU or the SB.

meanin that psu/board can't feed voltage consistently to d chip which directly cause d instability. smile.gif

using 2/3 floppy diskettes ..1 with dos bootable ..1 with bios flasher tools and 1 with bios updated files

boot the dos bootdisk after finish loading da take out the diskeete and put in the bios flasher tools diskette and seach the bios tool at a:/ ..and type the bios tools name (for biostar 770 type adw890)..then u can see a small bios tool windows .take the diskeette and put the bios updated files on it and type the bios name ....(biostar 770 type A78XA621.BST ) abd press enter

dos files got many kind ..some support usb / cd-rom some no and also some do support ntfs system files or only support fat 16 or fat 32

dos is very bluring guy all ...hahah

the eazy way is like this
burn a bootable cd with windows 98se bootdisk or windows me bootdisk and with bios tool together with bios update files
and start ur pc tp cd boot 1st

the bootdisk u can find from my last post

some cmd command

A:/ ---go to a drive
c:/ --- go to c drive

cd xxx -----go to the xxx (xxx=floder name)
cd .. -----up 1 floder
dir --- list all the driver files

ala guys.. i throw away my floppy drive edy.. huhu..
that's why using pendrive only.. but not enough.. todays mobo bios freakin huge.. not enough for both flash tool + bios file..
i only use usb to flash gpu bios... coz the file size is smaller..

other way to do.. boot using windows 98 CD.. smile.gif
