is the phenomx3 8450 better than athlonx2 6000 in terms of gaming?

No in some games.But X3 is better than X2 in multi tasking.

i wud say it depends on d game whether it's multi-threaded or not. if single threaded game d higher d clock speed d better while multi-threaded games run better on more cores. so far d multi-threaded game i know is supreme commander, not so sure bout d rest as i'm not a hard core gamer. i only play rts like bfme or c&c only...

now so least game using all core of the proc~

i think x2 is enuf for gaming nowadays, if wan upgrade, go to quad is better, since the quad ady become cheaper nowadays

if ur referrin to intel quaddies which can clock very high, yes, it does help, but amd quaddies, i'm affraid current dual core can do better their successor...

So fedup changed and find new ones with F3.Gotcha the 4600..Wonder hows the results.

1st.... a few thing bout dos command.( if no know better learn it 1st)
2nd... a dos files
3rd....install a USB Disk Storage Format Tool

Make ANY USB Stick Drive Bootable!!*fresh upload*

Ever had the problem of having a computer without a floppy drive and needing to boot into DOS?

This file will turn a USB Storage device into the equivalent of a bootable floppy, with also the added extra of having the DOS interactive version of Norton Ghost

Instructions:

1.Please note that when extracting files from the zip to make sure you have the "Use Folder Names" option Checked

2.Install hpflash1.exe

3.Run the installed application

4.Select apporpraite device, file system and volume label

5.Check Create DOS Startup Disc and then click sub option of "Using Dos System Files Located at"

6.Select the folder DOS System Files (These are for Win XP Only, for all other OS you will need to download the files from somewhere)you just extracted from the zip

7.Click Start


Warning: This Process will format your USB Device


after done copy the bios utility tools and the bios file to the pendrive
because using win98 or winme if u choose optian boot with cdrom support . u so can use the bios utility tools and the bios file which is burn in the cd/dvd

Then restart ur pc with USB (go to bios to set the 1st boot with USB )
