Bro, lucky or not lucky is another thing but putting the whole qualifier at a risk of not even a top gamer is picked, it makes no difference to have a qualifier at all. Just send the previous champs are enough then but if like what Eddy said, half of the spots are given to top gamers based on seedings then it would be much better since at least there are 16 GOOD gamers in the qualifier instead of a probability of only rookies playing the qualifier in the end, it would be too easy and boring for si_jali lolz. After all, the top gamers in Msia definitely deserve their places in tourneys IF only the qualifiers are really intended to find Msia's BEST gamers.

By the way, i've heard that the FIFA08 will not be patched too?? If this is really true, then i would be really speechless. Do the organizers have any idea that a patched version is totally different than an unpatched version? Also, using the FIFA07 rules? I wonder how the champ that represents Msia to play in SG will play like if he's playing on a gameplay with rules that are totally different than the ACG Finals..

I think this is the best solution so far. Having a Lucky Draw to pick participants doesn't sounds right for a QUALIFIER. It looks like the most luckiest people get to represent Msia for AWCG. If it were to be the luckiest player to play against Jali, might as well cancel the qualifier and straight away send Jali there. If for me to vote between 'first come first serve' or lucky draw BS, i will go for 'first come first serve'. At least the players will fight for their spot rather than just waiting to be lucily participated.

While for twenty06's idea, it is quite fair because those top players get to participate and the others can participate as well. What i can suggest here is to place the top16 of last year's WCG first into the qualifier. Then cancel those names if they didn't register on friday and open the slot to public.

Anyway, this is just my suggestion. I have no intention in criticizing the method of doing qualifier. I just want the best for the gamers around.

Yeah,wasnt ACG the acronym of Asian Cyber Games?Shouldnt everyone be mentioning WCG Asian Championship or just WCG AC?But back to the important issue,it is Tuesday already and I hope that angelstarz or NakA is carefully reading all latest posts and opinions by other gamers and shall consider to implement twenty06's idea for this competition.

If the seedings method were to be use in fifa,there are many competitions we can use for the seedings.What i suggest is we take the top16 of ALL competitions last year. We do have a summary or players overall performance based on every competition in 2007. I suggest if the seedings method were to be used,that will be a very good guideline to refer to as that seedings involve EVERY competition last year.

I thought this qualifer is held to choose the best team to represent Malaysia and fight for the country pride? Now is become like the lucky guy only able to join this qualifier? So this qualifier is held to choose the most lucky guy in the country to represent Malaysia? Mean a pro team/gamer that very skillful but because they are not lucky enough so they are unable to join, at last the most lucky guy that without skill win it and represent our country to show out all his "noob" skill to all our neighbour country? This got what different with throwing our country name into the dust bin? Luck or Skill?

I have no idea why there's always this and that. ALWAYS ! So, tell me, what's next, WHAT ? I will go through again, since it's on this FRIDAY. I will see what i can do, the decision is not on my hand tho.

I know lots ppl saying organiser is stupid, oh how can they do this? Some must be thinking, if me organise, i sure can do it better. Don't deny, and say oh, i never think so. I BET YOU DO!

However, we already try our best to do everything, its everything ya. Why will we change first come first serve? WHY ? think about it... after change, another issue pops out, So, now, what's now?

Well personally i know exactly how organizing a big event can be really hard but also frankly i'm saying that if you guys change it to a LUCKY DRAW system, it is in no way that you're improving things but instead putting the whole meaning of the event into the bin. It's very very normal that there will be definitely some people who protest, it's impossible if everyone will agree on a single thing. So listen to the majority, ignore the 1-2 people who think differently.

Think reasonably and fairly, taking half of the spots (16 out of 32) and give them to the Top Gamers based on current seedings is a brilliant step. As i said those top gamers who already fought and performed well previously deserved to have their spots while others still have their 16 spots, so it's not unfair. This method is the best because the qualifier will still have at least 16 of Msia's best performers to compete which i think these people obviously and definitely have more experiences than newbies. Think again and it's a wise choice, especially if Msia really wants to pick the best ones to fight in the Finals in SG.

Thanks for the notice and considerations. Btw, can we (FIFA gamers) be enlightened on what is the finalized and confirmed FIFA08 rules please?

Besides, pre-registration? How it works? Can tell me? so whoever 32 register first, then the slots close? So, ppl at that time can say, oh my internet not working? oh i am busy that time? oh i am not at home that time?

Good one on seeding as well. So that means Msia always having same gamers roll and roll, i fight you, you fight me. What if there's a good one, actually he stands a chance to join, but, because seeding, he missed out? So this isn't fair to him as well. There's nothing fair to be honest. It's just that you scare you lose a chance? You can't represent Msia? What about others? If that's the case, only 16 ppl stand a chance?

What happen if you are the one who's not in the seeding? How will you feel? I am a normal player, i trained and try my best, but i only have 1/16 possibility to get a slot. Think about it, those who post all the times are the one who's on lowyat. I do believe there's ppl who's not on there too. So is this fair to those who's not on lowyat? Ok, you may say they are noob, beginner or whatever? But are you not a noob before? PPL Join just because they want to gain more experience, but even this little chance, you also don't give ppl, so is this call fair? And the so called TOP PPL like you all, every year also seeding, is it fair as well? Then might as well, we don't need to have WCG Qualifier for National Championship? Seed you all, that will be enough. Isn't that right? So we can send best of the best to Germany this year, don't need to bother about those "NOOB" or whatever it is.

Upset about In2? Why do In2 want to organize this? The reason is because In2 wants to let everyone has a chance to join eventhough they know they cannot accomodate a lot of ppl, but at least they try. If not, why will they bother? They can just send Jali, Forza and etc over to SG, why they want to find trouble themselves and let ppl complain about them being stupid? Ridiculous? Do you think organizer will feel nice? It's like Hey, you this gamer, you are so stupid, do you feel nice? do you? i am asking you! whoever you are...

You all think about it, don't just know how to complain. Every reasons have their own pros and cons. You all just keep telling me about the advantage of seeding? what about disadvantages? Do you all really ever think about that? Don't tell me there's none.. it's f*king bullshit if you tell me that..

Before Eddy posted about the seeding, why there's no one mention about that? Well, i did not say Eddy's suggestion is not good, however, what's the point? Like you all said, choose best of the best? Or should i just say it's just a selfish thought about ownself? Why do i only see those who knows themselves confirm get a slot one keep posting about seeding? Can i refer that as selfish? Can i? Naka, seeding for e.g (FIFA players) doesnt come to us easily. All the players battled it out the whole year just to improve their ranking. Come one man! Yes we are all once a noob! But we fought our way up till what we are now today!! The same things those GOOD one that u mentioned, they have to go through this period when they first join competitve gaming tourney! If they are good , they will make their way through the seeding, bringing down so called PRO , seeded gamers now. Its not saying we not giving them chance to gain experience, but this was we went through as well last time!

If u are really GOOD, why give a damn to those seeded gamers.. seeded gamers ? SO? doesnt mean u cant beat them down!!

and naka, as i can recalled...there is so far no tourney that auto gurantee a spot for the seeded gamers / top16 or watever it is....correct me if i m wrong.So even we are seeded, we still have to go register for e.g WCG.MY....
