i won't be saying either kenari or gen2 will be better then the other one. imho, 20k+ gen2 can't have good condition like 20k+ kenari. is actually depend on ur preference and how u gonna use the car. if u have a lot of outstation driving, spirited driving, please look for hatch/sedan, eg, gen2; if not, kenari will do    unless u prefer to get kenari + spirited driving

seldom have spirited driving already compare to last time i don't have much confidence with goodyear nct5

talk about the tail, one of my friend is driving gen2, and from his car i can see it's not easy for u to see the rear because the tail is tall and the rear windshield is small due to gradient of windshield is quite slanting; of course, gen2 looks more sportier because it's a hatch. i don't get what u mean on expansion? u mean the trunk area? 

p2 mounting got 1year warranty.
additional my mounting last for almost 8year, till fully settle my car.
now need to change all, include fly wheel oil seal.

cost about 1200 include normal service.

Today i asked 1 mechanic tat introduced by my fren.. He told me tat d mounting nonit to use japan 1.. Use local made which cost around RM4xx  .  He told me tat one is a gud local brand(forgot to ask wad brand  ) which also export to other country.  If japan 1 need around 8xx.

The clutch set cost around RM3xx.  And he told me tat i need to get ready around 1k+ for both of it.  Labour charge will cost around RM2xx. 

And

Perodua,
Clutch set need around RM800 + mounting around RM1k (No labour charge if change both of them together)
Everything tgt around 1.9k 

Which 1 shud i go for? need advise

Just change bearings for a Kenari today, rear wheel only, and here's what I learned. This is first time change, so I made some observations noted here.

I was charged RM110 total of 2 sets of rear bearings and workmanship.

Each wheel use 2 sealed ball bearings, number 6203 and 6304.
I believe, if buy the bearings ourselves, it is so much cheaper...
One of the bearings, where supposedly are sealed on both sides, have one side already open. Some Perodua quality control.

Given that these are deep groove single row ball bearings, and not tapered rollers... they do not deal well against axial force - meaning when the car turns and exert a sideway force onto the wheels.

buying a car with changed/moded engine have certain risk, unless u know the owner well + u know what is fitted inside or u able to see the condition (but i personally dun think it's accurate enough even thou with mechanic along). if not u need to have some spare cash in cash of something wrong with the engine, applicable to all cars, not only kenari. erm, i dun understand what u mean by can this engine survive our zig zag road and hilly area, mind to explain more? 
i loves kumho, the grip is nice, kumho ecsta should be better then kumho solus kh17, i used kh17 before. gives some review on ur birdie new shoe compare to others that u tried?
