QUOTE(evoHahn @ Apr 20 2008, 04:02 PM)
we're not talking bout credits transfer, we are talking bout playing together online : whether peeps with US GT5 P can play with peep EUR GT5 P.

Guys, i want you guys (eur/jap gt5 p owner) to try this. here's my replay :

http://www.malaysiansimracers.com/evoHahn/PS3.rar

see if you guys can load it.
*
I know that you are not talking about credit transfer and I'm aware that you guys are discussing whether different regions can have the same online session or not.

Maybe to you credit transfer is not important but I'm just pointing it out so that others that want their credits to be transferred to GT5 take that into consideration when buying the game.

After all this thread is "All Things Gran Turismo" and not "Can different regions of GT5P play with others?".

oh.but u can ask them or see the back cover by urself.it's ok.i also abit geram with their supplyer don't have US version
*
i did, he said the same thing as fattyfei here said. i rarely buy original games especially for the ps3.
i told him i want a NTSC version. he said he dont know and not sure which region.
the main reason why my bro bought his is because of GT laugh.gif

QUOTE(Fattyfei @ Apr 20 2008, 01:24 AM)
Me too. I asked but someone said why worry about region? No problem with playing different servers. All the new games actually no region difference and content are the same. Haiz...what to do?! Bought already so have to live with it. No doubt GT5P is a very good game.
*
yeah, the thing is. when the EUR version kept popping out errors when im trying to play online vmad.gif

QUOTE(DjiNn @ Apr 20 2008, 03:14 AM)
My Guess is eddy is the one who told you about it ? cause I don't actually said that way to all of my customer. sweat.gif

Ah i see, sorry, i cant read the invisible rules you wrote regarding what specific things can be discussed. All i can see is a general topic rolleyes.gif

Oh come on, its not like i was going off topic

Why exactly did you feel the need to point out what you were or were not talking about?
If the points i brought up were not of interest to you, surely you can just be mature and ignore it rather than post such a pointless response.

well... lets see... The Most Important Thing Is Playing Together With Your Friend Online, thats why the guys here debate bout what version they should buy. key word here : Online play.

Since when i said you are going OT ? Please dont accuse me of something i didnt do. sweat.gif sweat.gif

So transferring credits from Prologue to GT5 (which IIRC has not been confirmed yet) has little effect on people here to buy their copy of Prologue.

So have you bought a prologue yet?

evoHahn, i'm sure you're going to love the F40. I know i have... coz everything bout this car is so old-school & authentic! Mastering to handle this car (in pro mode of course) is a quite a challenge for me. sweat.gif sweat.gif sweat.gif

Bro, never in my life playing AUTO transmission in GT series lol...

My setting will always be :-

Driving aids : OFF
Professional
Traction control : 0

but i think i wana try out goin for lower RPM limit...as u suggested, i will try 5000-6000 rev shifting..thanks~

about G25 VS GTFDP ... yeah once Ninja clarified that the gear knob is detachable to suits our driving needs, im craving for it already biggrin.gif
*
Ooh, maybe you use professional that's why. I'm not as good but usually standard physics are easier to handle. I use GTDFP wheel because it's easier and more natural to shift with the paddle (button actually) shifters since both hands always on wheel. I can't control well with analogue stick. D-pad pulak a bit cacat. In short get a wheel no matter what! Good luck with that event.

yeah i agree it is a VERY difficult car to drive...somehow if the race allows you can set the torque split to be 20-80 (front/rear) to get more control over the car...it works but not perfectly

thing is the car should be able to take corners without the throttle dropping due to the front wheels slowing down...the active AWD management on the REAL GT-R is not present on the car in game...it really takes a lot of getting used to to drive that car

but try the 20-80 split and see the difference...on one race i actually compared the time on that track (the one you have to use the GT-R to overtake and fortunately you can tune the power and other things) and i clocked in under 1 min 10 sec...which is good enough to get gold on the track where you have to get the best time with the GT-R...but the sad part is that you can't tune the car and you have to drive the way it is
___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

well i'm actually here to just say that the london track is the best track to win money FAST...it's got very little people and as the race progresses into the 2nd and 3rd lap you'll have a lot of space between you and the other guy so you don't bump into each other...and this is on the pro circuits not beginners

the beginners as i've stated in another post are full of idiots who only know how to bump and grind their way to victory, shoving people off the track as they go about cheating their way to victory...now on the pro tracks it does happen, like on suzuka and fuji but on tracks where handling and acceleration are more important than outright top speed is where the real drivers shine...i occasionally win 2nd and 3rd...if lucky 1st...the track is small yet challenging enough that it dares you to brake late and come out of the corner accelerating like a bat out of hell

just to let you guys know in case you're ever in need of quick credit tongue.gif thumbup.gif

Wait till you get to S class!

Hope you get a steering wheel soon. It's very nice! All I can say is that Logitech wheels are robust and well-built. You won't regret it.

I got mine for GT4 about 2 yrs ago for roughly 120 euros. Funny thing is the price now is still holding steady at 100 euros.
