If just change HU and speaker, I think not. Just plug-n-play. But if you cut wire (adding amp) sure will void warranty. But don't know whether void the ICE system warranty only or the entire electronic wiring system...

If you got friend open Proton SC, can ask them close one eye like my mechanic..

Most of the time, they just close one eye. Like changing sport rims... But I wouldn't dare to touch the electrical part as too much part are connected to them like ECU, ABS, airbags, and even the drive-by-wire system. At least when you change to aftermarket sportrim, you can still claim warranty for other unrelated part such as power window. But for the electronics..

You need to get power from battery and and do grounding... Wrong wiring while grounding can cause blown fuse, worst, short circuit... and have to re-wire all the speaker using higher grade cables for better effect.

btw radd.. just want to ask question.. since u r using AT, can u move the gear lever to any position when ur car is idle (engine not running).???? i feel a lil bit weird bcoz most of AT car that i have drove before... u can't move the lever... mine can move... for me.. its a lil bit dangerous...

Well.. If you have faith in Proton warranty, wait till the 3 years is up (5 years only for engine and transmission). For me, one year enough already. So, whack the car in one year time and replaced (warranty of course) everything that broken.

For exhaust, I'll wait for the CPS setup by R3. The current one is for Campro only.

Don't know bout auto, but dragging my car is more fun now.
