i thought there are not supposed to be any road blocks in highway tolls any more?? read it somewhere.. cant really put my finger on it... but i'm pretty sure police are not allowed to block in highways anymore.. something to do with lorries banging through their blocks
*
My friend accidentally do 180 spin due to the block in the middle of the highway. Its a downhill slope with right bending coners. He's speeding btw. Luckily, no one (and cars) hurt laugh.gif

I'm in Johor... and using 2nd hand BSA rim.. the car "feel" a bit lighter and cornering improved as compare before. price not confirmed yet since I only testing it until weekend but the guy said surely below RM1,000 after trade in..

Not everyone can test ler.. I've been their customer more than 5 years and now the boss quite well  tongue.gif
*
I don't think it is a good idea to use larger size rim at the back for FF cars (assuming both front and rear use the same series tyre) because it will make it easier to ose control of the rear (higher). Even my friend Skyline GT-T uses a smaller rim at the rear although it has AWD system to make the car more stable at high speed cornering (less ovesteer). hmm.gif

I'm using Hankook Ventus V8 RS tyres but the the tyre series is different rear is 205/45/17 and front is 245/50/16 (I need to check as I can't recall, I noted it down but don't know where I put my notepad  blush.gif ) I've tested in a road similar like in Genting which has a lot of sharp corners before and after changing the tires so far the new setting is good compare to the old tires...  thumbup.gif  or maybe it's just psychological hmm.gif err.. you want to test drive?
*
I think your setup is very weird. The front tyre width is larger than rear... wouldn't it look funny? hmm.gif

BTW, waja and persona handling, which one is better? just curious hmm.gif

driving habits. sigh.....

anyone drive before waja 1.8? how does it compare to waja cps? fc, handling, feeling tongue.gif , power train, transmission?
*
When I change my suspension to R3, the mechanics took my car for a drive after doing the alignment. He then said that 'this' 1.8 Waja spare part is hard to come by and expensive. Then I told him that this is CPS 1.6, not 1.8 (Renault) and he is really surprised. Maybe there is not much difference between these two. hmm.gif

BTW, is it possible to make our engine to archive  max torque(or any certain percentage) at lower rpm? Just asking, becoz i'm still noob about car tongue.gif
*
Use adjustable cam pulley (not crank pulley) and set it to retard (if I'm not mistaken hmm.gif laugh.gif ) to increase the pick-up but you'll loose top speed. Anyway, standard setup is already the optimal, well balance setting. nod.gif

I see. thanks 4 the info nod.gif

Worth it fro RM600 suspension upgrade. No need stabilizer bar, just the suspension is good enough already. thumbup.gif

Theoretically it can works to improve low end torque, but donno by how much. The question is whether spending RM500 is worth it for the improvement gains. But the seller is giving free trial, so can test 1st and then decide.

Anyone can provide a comparison between WAJA CAMPRO CPS against Toyota VIOS and Honda CITY? How much is the difference in fuel consumption? Any idea?.... Fuel price increase..... heard CAMPRO CPS consumes alot of petrol compared to those cars... is it?
*
16cent/km to 18cent/km (old price). Check with Vios thread for its FC.

no need to compare, campro definitely consume more than japanese makers. if you want a fuel efficient car, just get either vios or city.

Agreed, but need to calculate also how long to get the ROI as the price differ bout RM20k. sweat.gif

ROI also need to consider the depreciation of car value, toyota and honda branding by itself already helps to hold the second hand price of the car.
and the end of the day, ill just get a car that i like and live with it. smile.gif
*
I never think of a car as an invesment, that include selling to get profit (depreciation). laugh.gif Anyway, with rising of fuel price, 2nd hand car market will also be effected, just don't know by how much. hmm.gif
