u mean the keypad metal-chromish buttons or the touch-sensitive buttons? for the touch buttons, it will be hard to press when u have a crystal casing on, without it, much more easier & sensitive.

Of course not questioning on touch sensitive buttons...its the main alpha-numerical buttons..black buttons? Clicky and somewhat hard?..good or bad, don't know.

It goes fine with me.. I guess small fingers really help tongue.gif Maybe you have to work on how you press the button, sometimes it feels kinda hard if i press it differently. By the way you will get used to it wink.gif

I'm feeling very weird this model keys are the hardest among 2 other SE models (even my last Nok6600 wasn't that bad..even with lousy 3rd rate el cheapo quality keypad!. I'm just baffled!.
Probably the worst phone I've experience.. No!..nothing else wrong..except keypad and D-pad ring UI...terrible!.

Actually before buying handphones one should check "kaw kaw" all the features including its physical profiles rolleyes.gif . It only takes few minutes to notice the keypad and d-pad, well at least for me it does. I realized the buttons are somehow uncomfortable yet i bought the phone cause its features mesmerized me and I know i can live with that keypad. wink.gif Just my personal thoughts..

i think the keypad is still ok for me... not that difficult to press. but at first i think the d-pad is a bit uncomfortable and hard... the first few days, i feel a bit pain in my thumb because of using the d-pad. but now get used to it already...

Urgent!! HELP!! icon_question.gif
My K850i can't startup after i plug in the data cable to my friend's pc to transfer some files. when i on the phone, the keypad light and the camera cover blue light just stay there.. LCD dun have anything, and the phone is just freeze there.. so i try to reflash it by using the SEUS, it can detect my phone in flash mode, but when it show the percentage to transfer the firmware into my phone, it keep freeze at the 0%... after few min, got error saying that "error to update phone, please try again." i've tried many times, but looks no help.
So anyone do face this kind of prob b4? my firmware is the latest 1: R1EA037 if not mistaken, coz when i try to update tru the SEUS, it said my phone already the latest firmware.

so any taiko do knwo how to solve??? icon_question.gif icon_question.gif please help...
( i suspect will it infected by virus? my friend pc didn't install any antivirus, n his pc is very messy 1... rclxub.gif )

Is that the BROD (Blue Ring of Death)? Many people in a few forums claimed that their phones have been like that due to some error in firmware and unable to startup their phone, patch and etc, if possible would recommend u to bring it back to the shop you have bought it, most likely they'll replace you with a new one, or you can reflash it yourself, though it's not free for now, like kulan something and davincci.

If davidgm16 had the latest firmware and still encountered BROD, its obvious something in the electronics is defective. Yes, replacement phone is best solution and there's been a lot of talk of BROD like no other phone. SE should recall the phone or revamp this model for obvious reasons. I'm glad to have sold mine off..not wanting all sorts to happen in due time, a joke and much user annoyance to me. NO MORE K850i for me!. Blardi flawed phone model despite its hi-end features..sorry!. I'm going to buy the less problematic and seemingly more stable K810i again.

Its been reported by foreign owners in their own places but I've no idea how rampant it is in Malaysia...perhaps we only know so much through the internet. Not everyone reports it over the internet here, so we really can't say.
Yes, your AP service center should replace or repair the phone, but if it happens again, hard to say what the AP will do. You know the working culture here of people..they can Ah chee, Ah chaw being evasive. Thats why its sometimes more worth for less risk to buy ORI. WHilst owning this phone, I always felt its a flawed design. Its also being reported the CPU is barely sufficient processing power (same or worse than K810/K800), resulting in being laggy and just NOT ENOUGH cpu speed. Even the lastest firmware update changelog doesn't hint of any relation to BROD.
