Yea, i reported in once my mom got me my phone, but it took a week for a friend of mine to bring it over to Perth, but really, i'm finalllllllllllllllllllllllllyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy getting it

Just got my phone moments ago, checked the firmware and it is R1CA029, anyone can help teach on how to update the phone, including the changing of CDA number if possible, pls and tq everyone ^^

I wish it was as simple as that, and i don't have to think bout laggy media stuff already xD But mine's an ap set too, and the firmware is still at version one an can't like update through SEUS, think that it's the CDA problem and region etc etc, so was asking here lur =P

I wish that it was that simple, it's the CDA probbie that my phone is an ap set that cna't update through SEUS, stuck with the first firmware, R1CA029, which is way laggy, even lagger than my N73 (which is already considerably lag), and i don't wanna pay for stuffs to like upgrade a firmware, cause it'll be a waste, anyone got like codes or stuff to share to flash the phone? I would send it to a shop to flash, problem is i bought my phone in Malaysia, and now i'm over at Perth, and there is like no shop here that would flash your phone.

You're in Perth mar Antho1? I tried the SEUS thingie jor, and have the update file in my computer, will see first ba.

It's a personal favor on how the phone works and just that it doesn't suit others the way it does to many others. Well, everything can be fixed with the firmware probbie and just like vista, it's gonna win loads of people in the end =3 *cheers*

Erm, most of the phones with not the latest firmware has quite a problem with it de, try updating the phone or if u can't on it, might go reflash or master reset first before updating?

Updates should be available for free as after-sales services ya. If it wasn't the ap set problem, everyone could just update it off SEUS, and i believe that it'll eventually be common that everyone can update at home de

Added on April 21, 2008, 7:05 pmk850i has the potential to be one of the best phone that is out there at the moment in the market. Isit possible that SE will launch something that is even worst then the previous phone released? k810i might have a better firmware, camera thingie, but it's reaching it's limit, while there is so much more that k850i can go on to, for now, it's just in a bad firmware problem, which is merely solvable eventually through updates and so on, in the end, it'll be perfect, and more than k810i. If you really need a good camera phone and can't wait much for the firmware problems on k850i to get to the end, then start off with k810i, still, i've been using this phone for a few days down, and i have no sense of regret for it as i trust that it's gonna get better ^^

It's like vista i assume, which i heard at first launch, a lot of bad comments on it, like not user friendly and etc, but it eventually got better with updates, regarding k850i itself, i've stated already above, just firmware matters that block the potential of the phone to be better.

Yup, once u face the phone downwards, the volume is like 50% lighter = = That's why i often have to terbalik my phone ><

terbalik so that the sound can fully come out and thus having louder music...
