Depends on how you drive, but quite high FC for town driving. It's a heavy little car.

before i proceed to look for authorized dealers, might want to take a quick look in this thread..

do they offer 0% DP? and how much is the installment monthly? say... 6 years.....or 9 years..

interested here >.<
*
Use simple interest.

monthly_installment = [ sum_borrowed * ( 1 + years_to_settle * ( interest_rate_in_percentage / 100 ) ) ] / ( 12 * years_to_settle )

I don't know, but the warrantee cover ALMOST everything. The SC centre I went, Tmn Connaught there, say even absorber leaking can claim, provided you didn't change your rims.

Now thats interesting. :-)

quick question... when you drive, do you feel that the car is a bit heavy? tekan minyak like cannot budge? handling wise nothing to say, damn stable when cornering smile.gif
*
This is definitely, the steering feels heavy, the car feel heavy, if you're not used to it.

Added on December 10, 2010, 12:47 pmAt first when I drove it also have the same feel as you, kenji1903. After you drive Swift, then when you drive other cars, you feel like other cars are very light and fast.

But power wise, there is ntg wrong with the car, can go all the way until 170-180 km/h with full load in it (5 ppl + luggages).

unless got Swift Sport CKD, im sure many people want to buy. CBU is too expensive and you only get 1.6 for almost 100k.
*
I don't see ppl complain when they pay around 90k for 1.5, or over 100k for 1.5 for that matter. Hints... i-Vtec?

Stability = yes
Powerful = no
Safety = Don't know
Quiet Cabins = no

If travel long distance. Swift is suitable but you need to soundproof your car otherwise the passenger will go crazy with the rear tyre noise.
Btw, only 2 person can travel if want comfortable..

If 100% city. I think vios is more suitable because of its power. Swift lack of pick up but the acceleration is smooth..
*
I don't know how many times I tell everyone, Swift doesn't lack in pickup, just that its a characteristic of the car to be sluggish under 3k RPM and responsive after 3k RPM.

All the cons show that Swift is not suitable in city ...  sweat.gif

Anyway, swift is a fun car to drive with superb handling.. Just lack of power only & its expensive to add ..  rclxub.gif
*
What do you mean by lack of power? Do you actually have a Swift? What cars in similar category is power adequate? I repeat here again you feel the car is lacking in power because your right foot simply tap on the accelerator only.

So you're expecting the car to fly like rocket when you don't want to step on the accelerator? Please girl, the car need to go slow in some areas. This is called sensitivity!

Added on January 28, 2011, 10:51 pmThose who have Myvi for example, can feel the car is so powerful, but this is because of the close gearing. Try to race a Myvi at over 130 km/hr with the Swift.

High compression engines (for higher performance) need higher octane fuel to reduce knocking. Give it to a car with no knock sensor and knocking will occur, give it to a car with knock sensor, the ECU will compensate by retarding ignition timing maybe resulting in lower performance.

For the rest of the normal cars, RON 95 is sufficient.

tried that...the loud noise that sounds as if the whole door will fall off? LOL...i'm surprised that the door closing sounds like a solid built...but when the window is winded down...it's a diff story..
*
This is normal, at least for most car that is not in the luxury category. My Proton car also like that.

Cn I knew how much V-Cool 4 Swift?
Im planning tk my car go tint w/ 3M  laugh.gif any ppl using it now?
*
Red is a very nice colour on the SS, but then many ppl don't think so because not much red SS I see at the road. Btw, if not mistaken, white is not 2K, only solid white.

Added on February 18, 2011, 12:15 pmV-Cool can be anything from RM 1500 - RM 2.5k. Not sure, I don't bother with tinting a lot.

i think fiesta features in terms of techy stuff much better than swift...even my sisters swift sport is emptier than my fiesta...swift sport is more fun to drive though...not sure bout normal swift...fiesta noise levels are also very low and ride is very comfy....dont think maintenance is a prob as fiesta is now very popular and also new swift coming out...dont regret when it does if u buy one now...
*
Swift Sport is a sporty car, Fiesta is a feature loaded car, can't compare.

New facelift don't have autolock, older ones have. But newer cars have keyless + retractable side mirrors and others.

Torque don't mean anything, its hp that's matter.

There is a video or article comparing this matter before torque vs hp. Contrary to most believe, its hp thats of meaning in a pickup, not torque. I forgot where I got this, but try Google around.

And top speed and others no need to say sure hp is more important.

But then, then new Swift 1.3 liter engine is very efficient I must say, like a lot of newer engines.

Huh where did you learn this from? Torque and power are part of the same formula.

Not really. It depends on RPM also. Btw, the experiments/test I saw it from a website one.
