like i told you parenting is not an easy task, even if you are not working, and i would be harder when u are working regardless of how good your delegating is, so that's why i suggest the one with lower income stays at home biggrin.gif

And that's absolutely subjective to each person/family. I've never mentioned that parenting is easy, but it's not impossible to do it even if you work. laugh.gif You'll simply need to find the best way to handle it base on your own capabilities. And not every family can survive on a single income either ohmy.gif

But me, I totally cannot stay home 24/7 as a housewife laugh.gif Can't survive on routine life. So I respect those who can notworthy.gif

if got money, of course can provide better living conditions ma sweat.gif

about delegating, it depends on how capable the parents are la. both my parents work full time but i grew up with family times on weekends, taking me to ballet, taekwondo, organ, tuition class ... seeing my parents at home every night with time to help me with homework or take me to the movies... yah and always had balanced meals everyday...

woo... later serve my mom tea already... T_T

Dont really care about that. It's not that important as long as she's improving and earn more as time goes.

Everyone has to start at the bottom and climb to the top.

I would say guys must earn more than girls or at least same. Cox it would be a tough time wen hubbys see their wife as a successful business woman while the hub is just a normal teacher. Of cox u needa improve to closen the gap, but its hard. Hard life everyday. Sumtimes when argument comes..wives can use 1 word to stop their hubby, >i`m earning more than u, y dun u just shut up n listen to me?< In either way, i believe hubs shud earn more n b more wiser than their wives. Just an idea..i dun hav experience or wat..what u think?

More importantly, are girls (or guys for that matter) actually earning the amount they 'should be' earning a month?

Otherwise, it's all wishful thinking only.

I agree with this. All the preoccupation with how much a person is SUPPOSED to earn really sickens me.

The problem is whatever a girl earns is used for her own personal use, while whatever what a guy earns partially has to be used for family/gf expenses/house etc.

I dun know what this thread for...honestly

It just like a thread greybear want to release her angry on me? lol

I never think about girl salary, cause by the time female reach 30, they should be married, and for me

I will earn enough money for my future wife so she never needed to suffer

Maybe we should change the title from "How much a girl should earn per month when they 30"

to "How many lady earning over 10k now?" (well, lady, dun tell me those female over 33 or 50

don't think about how much your partner earn, don't stop looking for more money once you reach your target

assuming there are kids, a house to maintain, a yearly family holiday some where nice, funds for investment and a separate fund for retirement, minimum is 20k
*
wow...minimum of RM20,000 per month?do you mean per person or shared between husband and wife?

emm...high expectations sweat.gif

That is so true.. A lot of my aunties are so successful that their husband used that as an excuse to get a divorce from them..E.g. One's an architect hubby also but on lower salary ; the other's even worse, she's a lawyer and supported her hubby to Uni who eventually had an affair and said she's a huge pressure on him all his life.. saddo!

So I guess I'd rather have a hubby who is capable of earning more than me cause the brilliance of my aunts run in the family icon_rolleyes.gif
