Nope, you will still get your Jan-July dividend. You might miss on your August dividend though I am offering RM50k and above1. 4.80% p.a with insurance/takaful (5 years tenure) 2. 4.85% p.a without insurance/takaful Below RM50k
1. 4.90% p.a with insurance/takaful (5 years tenure) 2. 4.99% p.a without insurance/takaful Let me know if any of you guys are interested.

For every 0.1% p.a rate difference @RM100k you are losing RM100 per year to the bank. So if you have ASB loan of RM200,000, and is getting 5.15% p.a, and there is another bank that is offering 4.85%, you are essentially losing RM600 a year Rate plays a huge role especially for a collatoral loan with a fixed type of asset (as opposed to mortgages)

QUOTE(meonkutu11 @ Jul 25 2018, 08:07 AM) Hi, for those who rolling their dividen to repay their asbf, are you doing this over the counter every month? I guess no different when you withdraw (throughout the month) it as the dividen calculation for that month will use the min balance on the account, right? If you have asbf & asb2f, are you withdraws from one account to repay the loans or withdraw from both accounts to repay their own? Thanks If u ask me better u take out the dividend at every month. At least the balanced left in the account still calculate for the dividend. However this method might be an hassle for some people. So its depend to you. If the bank or poslaju is near with your place than this method is applicable. You also can take out the dividen at every quarter to pay the installment. Choose which one u feel less hassle. For your 2nd question the answer is withdraw from both accounts to repay their own. If u only take from asb 1 can the dividend cover up for asb 2 installments too? The only advantage if u can get lower rate or at least the same rate like your previous loan. Other than that not that much advantage. If u take asbf at bank tiger u might end up pay your loan with takaful. If stay with octopus at least u get the same rate and without takaful + easy to manage because the same bank.

Latest documents too.

Which would be better though, Terminate it soon and reapply to lower rate. Terminate end of the year to enjoy full dividend p.a and reapply then.
