Last time i have $1000+ in my account and they want to charge me a few hundred RM to transfer to my bank. At the end i buy something from ebay for friends and got back all my money

hmm, i did try to do it just now, it says:

if more than RM400, free for malaysia banks.
if less than RM400, RM3 will be charged for Malaysia banks.
both of these takes 3-4 working days.

free for any USA banks.

Did you try to cash out and see how much you will get? You can try submit, but the last step you dont click confirm? It could be the exchange rate is not favourable

fYi, actualy it only charge RM3.00 transfer to maybank. i had foreigner customer buy stuff from us, make payment by paypal. than we were withdraw the money successfully from paypal account it only charge rm3.00 no additional any hidden fees.

Withdrawing USD1,000 PayPal to Malaysia banks are free of charge lah friend. Only is their conversion rate isn't that good. You might lose RM20 to RM30 due to the exchange rate.

My Paypal is linked to my MBBAmex. Of late, every time I want to use PP to pay online merchant (even the amount is less than USD10), the payment wouldn't get thru and I have to call Maybank to "authorize" the lifting of payment restriction from the minimum of 1 day up to a maximum of 1 month. Once the authorized period expired, I need to call again if I want to use PP again.

When we want to pay from rm to usd using paypal, what is the conversion rate ? where can we check ? is it same with xe.com

it depends on the rate at that particular day of the bank that your credit/debit card is attached to. If you have balance in your paypal account in RM then the paypal currency rate will apply (paypal will convert automatically for you)

RM is not recognized, therefore all your transactions will be converted to USD first.
Rate= depends on your CC (visa, master,amex) + any bank charges, for example MBB visa = 1.25%, Amex 2.5% on top of that

Last time can do trf from MBB and other selected banks to paypal, but it has since stopped. The only bank that you can do the trf to paypal now is RHB Bank.

From MBB you can trf to US bank via Telegraphic transfer (TT) and vice versa

Not a new policy but transfer to/from other banks have already stopped few months ago after a trial run. The only bank that can still do the transfer is RHB

I add a card into the paypal only when i need to make a purchase. after that i delete the card.
