when you make a withdrawal, paypal will email you the notification.

check the date specified in the e-mail... but usually will take 5 working days.

the email notification dated Oct 5th. Today is Oct 25th. Still don't see the money in my Maybank.

Try log in into Paypal to check the withdrawal status...see it's "pending" or "complete". Normally just need max 4 days to reach maybank. Maybe something wrong with the bank info.

Guys, it is possible to make funds transfer directly from your local bank account to Paypal now. You no longer need a debit card for this rclxms.gif

Anyway, only RHB Bank offers this service at the moment and you must do this via your RHB Bank online banking portal and not through www.paypal.com.

I have funds in USD in paypal. My account is verified using hsbc credit card. How do I withdraw money in myr? Do i withdraw directly in usd to my credit card or can I setup foreign currency account? Does foreign currency account charge for conversions to ringgit?

You will first need to get a debit card, add that card into your Paypal and follow instructions on how to verify your account.

Yes. The most economical way to withdraw your money in Paypal is to withdraw the money directly to your bank account in Malaysia.

Not sure if you can withdraw the money in USD. Anyway, you can withdraw your money directly to your Malaysian bank account and they will make the conversion automatically. And yes, you will loss tiny bit in the exchange rate.

If you do have a USD account in Malaysia then of course all incoming funds in USD will not be converted into MYR. However, do take note that banks in Malaysia all charge a fee for each foreign currency account you hold. It is around US$20/pa.

friends i have a noob question and sorry TS tumpang your thread.
been reading and reading but still confused.
i wanna buy something from Singapore, the seller states its better to do transaction via PayPal because there won't be any bank administrative fee as he claimed.
the problem is i don't have any CC and a bit reluctant to use my debit card.

what i wanna enquiry is that is it possible for me like if i open up an account on PayPal, just deposit money into my PayPal account via ATM machines for example from any of our local bank(i.e MAYBANK let's say) and from there i could just pay the seller thru my PayPal right?

hope somebody could clarify me on this noob ques and pls don't flame me smile.gif

Why are you reluctant to use your debit card ? It's pretty safe you know smile.gif Besides, the seller who is receiving your money through Paypal won't be able to find out what your debit card numbers are.

This is only possible if you have a RHB Bank account and you can only do this via their online banking portal.
