I understand what you mean. I got stopped by one of the road block last week. I m drivin around 40-65km from Tmn Danau Desa junction to Federal Highway. Of course you need to step a bit for pick-up if we going to overtake to highway. Somehow, I don't think I have exceed 83-86km with that short distance for my local turtle ride. The policeman just stopped. And greeted. Asking where I from. Inform officer I just back from dinner and going home now. Then he laughed and said. Sorry, you have exceed the speed limits state. Here It's only 60km and etc. He got all his story. He did the same. He showed me records of his summon books. Asked me for Identity Card and Driving license let me just issue you ticket Rm300 for exceeding speed. I tried to explain to officer saying I really didn't do so fast speed and didn't tend to speed if not needed cause it's a highway. Officer said, what not speeding. His tone has changed after I m not agreed on what he accused. Just pay the summon at the JPJ. I said boss, really sorry I didnt really do it. Asking for favor. He replied how about Rm50 you pay me now and leave. I've told him and show I got really don't have so much cash. He said no no. Rm50. I showed him I only got Rm10 + $10. He hand over the summon book and giving signal to pass him the money. So I just insert the money and he said.. now leave. I said ok. My friend actually following me from behind at the same speed but was luckier, as he wasn't being stopped.

Feeling like this is so called Malaysia Police Officer. The amount of money given is not the point but just that I really feel like being cheated. I really did nothing wrong but ...speechless.

Erm, want ask about tinted glass......
i just stick a tinted glass which is in silver colour and it looks like very dark when it reflect light.......[reflect sunlight heat(infrared?) for 82%]
so, just want to ask if i been caught before july or after july, what should i talk to them? Give them see the warranty card that come with tinted glass and i can be save??? Or now i should bring to anywhere to have a check on it?

jpj didnt approve any tints or any shops which does tints. if u kena saman, pay it off. if u kena haul back to puspakom, better to juz kopek the tint and avoid trouble. once done with it u can invest in tinting again. thats what most people do. its a real waste of money and time but what to do, wanna avoid all the longgggggg conversations and kopi-o money thats what u have to go through.

it become darker when reflect with light right? so that is ok. becoz when at night, u glass will clear right ? the reason they dont want ppl to tint becoz it will be very dangerous if ppl tint using normal (cheap) tint which always dark night or day.imagine u drive ur car with darker glass at night

I stil remember when I stick tinted glass, they say that their tint is approved by JPJ and got 5 years warranty....
If I being caught, after I peel off the tint, can i stick the tint again at the same shop without paying any fees?
If cannot, then the warranty give when we tint is needed for wat???

caused mine 1 front and side and back all also 80%+++ heat resistance......

not heat resistance ler.. but light transparency. mean that 70% light MUST can pass ur windshield.

i read it in the newspaper that jpj didnt approve any form of tint brands. not even v-kool. i forgot which day th star newspaper i read it.
warranty is for defects. say after 3 months your tint starts peeling or color faded or even air pockets forming.

How to check if the tinting are following the specification? Can we do this, I mean measuring the light?
