And the most important thing is they got a lot of cash right now

the thing is what will they do on this cashpiles
1. Special Dividend? Not likely i think
2. Acquisition?
3. Funding to genting sentosa?I think this is the reason why the stock still undervalue as ppl still don know what will resorts do for their cash yet.
Genting Malaysia can't fund Genting Sentosa directly. Sentosa Island is controlled by Genting Singapore.
The group Structure is:
Genting Berhad holds stake in Genting Malaysia and Genting Singapore(55%).
The only way Genting Malaysia can fund Genting Singapore is via below:
Genting Malaysia can declare special dividend to unlock the 4billion cash and this would mean Genting Berhad would have some chunk of the dividends. With the cash, Genting Berhad can fund the Genting Singapore via related company transaction. This can be done by issuing bonds or intra-company loan. However, it is unlikely Genting Berhad will opt for this, reason:
1. When Genting Malaysia declare special dividend, all the shareholders (you,me, investors) will get a portion of it.
2. It would dampened future growth of Genting Malaysia.
3. Company will always try to stay away from related company transactions as it will draw attention due to the nature of conflict of interests.
So,it remain to be seen what GenM will do wit its RM4 billion of cash..acquisition is most likely...
