No basically you remove the plastic wheel arches,if there's any. But I think older cars don't have such thing.

Many Thank jiash87!

Nice information and method u have.Another way to "firewall" is just stick the bitumen foil upper the inner fender metal part only.Solve 1thing problem.

Gud Morning pokju,

Bitumen : used widely for wrapping metal part to avoid rust, seal the metal, and protect the metal.

It is widely used in the protection wrapping of Cast Iron in transporting system.

It can be also used for waterproofing usuage.

Thickness: 1. 5mm-3mm.

The way we soundproofing as DIY bitumen can be more proven for solidness sound from metal part without kling, klong, esp for doors or bonnet underway carry.

It will leak after we stick it at metal part that we will never used for any car service or upgrading. That is the way "bitumen" work job

Normally used for optional as required by user itself.TQVM

opps... no need to caps ur sentences....

yeah, will leak inside door which we will never touch everyday, but the 'leaking' itself is a problem....... if it cant withstand everyday outside temperature, sooner or later, once open back the panel.... huh.gif

anyway, free bump for u. and gud luck with the sales and satisfied buyer.

Dear, wcg
For the question raised by zizhang.. means that we just need to put the superlon onto the humps from the inside of the car? (to reduce the highway/normal road driving)

hi...
noobie here.. hehe
good effort u hv there. b4 we go further anyway,
can u pm me the project blueprint, as i curios bout the time spend, the total cost, trouble that we might face, tips and tricks, etc.
as we r daily car user, so car availability is important, if we just dismantle everything, that wont help if there any emergency, rite...
so, therefor i want a wise help from our successor.
i mean the total preparation involved in the project
actly i just done my car engine transplant, but after a while, i realize that something going wrong bout the acoustic in my car. really noisy from everywhere. especially from under car, tire.
thanks n regards
