u see the gaps in between the bitumen strips. doh.gif
it should be stick it side by side, means leave no gaps. thumbup.gif
and need to cover with a layer of superlon aka sythetic foam. thumbup.gif

Bitumen Information :

Size:50mm Width x 10 Meter Length
Thickness 1.5mm

This Black bituminous compound consists of self adhesive polymer modified bitumen layer coated on to a tough high density polyethylene film and covered by an aluminium foil.
It is economical, cold applied instant flashing tape which is ready to use to waterproof with outstanding durability. VitalBand provides excellent adhesion, improved heat resistance, tear and puncture resistance, and chemical resistance to chlorides, sulphates, alkalis and acids.
Applications:
Protection: Asphalt, brickwork, concrete, fiber cement sheet, metal and plastic materials, roofs and covering, etc.
Sealing & Waterproofing: Glass & plastic windows frame, parapets, skylight structures etc.
Repair Work: Metal and fiber cement sheet roofing, shingles, gutters and metal tube etc.
VitalBand is generally used as waterproofing and damp proofing membranes intended for concrete protection. It may be used for horizontal and vertical application and as a damp proof course for tanking below ground structure, subways and retaining walls.

fuhhh sweat.gif ....it's not easy to get it done, manage to finish 2 doors last weekend,
but really worth it, reduces the irritating wind sound while moving.
But the great thing is when i closed the door...yikes....sound really better
then b4.... thumbup.gif

for door,floor, front n rear bonnet...n mayb for roof also....need how many sets of 10mm...

also can do posting to Penang or Kedah? or COD only?
