Why buy the Air if you want to run Windows/Linux? Why not buy one of the many (cheaper) Windows/Linux ultraportables out there? If you purpose is NOT an ultraportable but a machine that will run all platforms then you will be severely limited by the small harddrive of the Air and also the limited RAM expansion.

i like the MBA because of its form factor OSX is good but until emulation works alot better or it gets ported there are key applications on certain platforms i'll have to rely on. the hard drive is big enough for my daily needs. just that after holding on to an MBA my Toshiba Protege seems like a chubby wife while the Sony TZ's feel like midgets.

Better not let your Toshiba hear what you said or else it'll end up like this poor little thing.

My personal experience, after 10.5.3, fans does not kick in so often.

But after coolbook (USD10), it runs cooler, no core-shutdown and battery last longer.

Best USD 10 I had ever spent.

Can MB Air supports DotA? Will it lag?

Im planning to get a MacBook Air mainly because the slim-ly-ness of it and the fine burden to travel around with. But it looks fragile and im afraid if it breaks down, how will the repair is done since the parts seems to be all joint together.

First time buying a Mac notebook so abit nervous on choosing the correct one.
