2.5Mbps? Hardly 2Mbps, I tried at my cousin's house in KL  he's using the 4Mbps package...

That's the main reason why I opted for Maxis.

Actually, I don't download much at all. I average about 1.5GB of download every month... because I have to control, if not I'll be capped heavily till my webpages can't load.

I don't know about mocha but in my case, I've already pushed myself to stay below the limit so I can enjoy these speeds.

Anyway, FUP is really, unfair, but what can we do? This is Bolehland...

The last time another person told me about his "networking skills", i told him that just becoz he is using TCPOptimizer (with guides available on the net) or using TCP half-open settings, it doesnt really means it is a skill.

and neither is disconnecting/reconnecting the modem makes up for anything that can be called "skill".

so whatever you did to avoid capping, i dont know since you are not telling. but thats fine anyway, its yr right.

But pls, dont misuse the term "networking skill". Ppl with rightfully certified CISCO certs would definately be glad to explain to you what is "networking skills".

and no, i dont hv any "networking skills". thats y i searched the net and forums asking for advice. am just a regular customer trying to get his fair access to a paid service.

At first glance, I thought you were talking about the *other* WBB...lol  Btw have you switched the the other side?

I've been wondering. Do you call the CS to reset your connection or you just disconnect and reconnect the modem? Coz last time I use WBB, I called the CS to reset my connection...so everytime they reset...I'll get full speed for about 2-3 days   I repeat the process every few days...lol   But I think it won't work anymore....anyone willing to give it a shot?

Lol...yeah.. Posting speedtest is a way of showing people that throttling may not happen to certain people and with this information, some people might try their luck with WBB. And I"m sure the MWBB staffs won't mind 

If anyone has a slow download speed, then *tOO bAD*...just move on...this is a MWBB thread, any any MWBB customers have the right update their speedtest results in this thread....    

One more thing...eddie_al, if you think the post are against the rules...then why haven't you reported the post then?

Not as fast as yours but I get around 1.1 Mbps on average..sometimes for few hours it'll go up to about 1.6Mbps..its still good enough to download at least 120GB of data/month...when I was capped...it was *Mission Impossible*..lol Now I'm glad I'm capped anymore

It is just a sudden burst on speedtest.
Malaysia's wireless broadband infrastructure is only up to 3.6Mbps.
Only DiGi has the infrastructure up to 14.4Mbps but it has not roll it out and sticks to 3.6Mbps.
