When I say that , I mean that to unblock that port , meaning that i can get full connectivity from that particular port. Its openvpn port anyways. You can't do much. Dont expect to use that port to torrent as it wouldn't work. now vpn is back to slow

QUOTE
No minimum contract term:

    * No minimum contract period to tie you down.
    * A handling fee of RM 200 is payable if you discontinue the Maxis Wireless Broadband service within the first twelve (12) months from date of registration. For customers who have been with us for more than twelve (12) months, we will waive the handling fee.
Is it true?

If just want to use for a few month only, so need to pay handling fee RM200?

Anyway , I've just opened the ZTE Modem. I'll post pictures. Well its using a QualCom chipset which supports up to 7.2Mbps. So later , maxis may provide firmware upgrade to ZTE Owners to support speeds up to 7.2Mbps

U can terminate the contract if u can prove that ur connection very low... Like mine, i just subscribe after CNY and after 2 month use, my connection very unstable. Always go to UMTS although i pay RM78 for HSDPA. Also there r lot of user use the service at Bandar Baru Bangi.. So what I do was to send email to cfm and maxis.. u must tell them how many report that u have done... and wait their answer.. If still no improvement, send email to cfm asking about termination... For me i terminate before i send 2nd email to cfm but lucky cfm follow up my email n ask maxis waiving my penalty (rm1k).. And my bill (RM1k++), maxis CS call me to ignore the bills as they already waiving my penalty.. thats all.... I heard NCC also do the same thing... try it out if u want release from ur contract...  whistling.gif

Look at the latency ! . It has been reduced from 200-300ms to merly 150ms++. Now i'll have to test with some games.

Due to the fact that Maxis cybertroopers are out here. I'll not be revealing all the details

You'll have to open your ZTE MF600 modem. I have installed couple of heatsinks inside the modem itself. One on the qualcom wireless chipset (it gets too hot) and other one on the ARM processor. After installing both of the heatsinks , i've found out the modem runs cooler. Hence better performance. Of course i am using a reflector too to increase the reception

Nextly , i'll install a fan as well to cool it down even further. I don't think i'll be needing that battery

2day ive go maxis center according to settle down my "miss update" bailing this month..long story short,i just informed by maxis staff that ZTE modem is currently not provide in my place..im staying at Kota Bharu..they said that maxis only provide USB modem for their customer..I was shock because the guys from place that i subscribe my BB did not tell me about this..what the..
so..i just hope any Kelantanese LYN forumer..beware of tricky tactics from Internet service provider representative in our area..
