if you wanna find outside try find HUAWEI E176 its the same thing... its a new model even the huaweidevice.com page also don't have any updates yet this modem supports HSPA dats y in Bangi i can get HSPA

nope.. its the default preloaded one.. just add a few profile for maxis prepaid and maxisbb with opendns... but then... maxis default dns is faster than opendns

see max speed at 3.9mbps maa~

the modem cannot buy seperately.. so need to sign up for any of the package.. this add also tempting.. im on the 6GB package... just upgrade last week...~ my work+software updating+youtube eats my FUP fast oo

damn u Maxis!!! anybody in Balakong/Taming Jaya/ Tmn Sg Besi Indah experiencing the same problem?

i've called earlier today to complain and the CS said they have reset my connection but still the same speed tonight!

MAxis testing my patience...!

edit: and yes... i did set the modem to "WCDMA only"(using Huawei B932)

so u're capped at this speed?

no... haven't finished my FUP yet. used only around 2.76 total (from maxisbb website). that's also why they agree to reset my account since i'm not using more than 3GB yet.

last month use until 3.2GB also no prob with speedcap.

that's why i'm asking people around my area their speed. if all having same prob so most probably Maxis network problem but if people near my area all ok then sure mine speedcap already--> so can bamboo Maxis CS! Hehe.
