QUOTE(joongieforeva @ Sep 21 2009, 06:00 PM) maxis keep changing plans..it so confusing for me they will not cut off your connection after you exceed the limit.the no device package advanced lite youth is only rm 48 per month and they state that the volume quota is 2gb so after i exceed my limit...they will cut off my connection or they will throttle my speed? which one? It's either your speed is throttle or you are charge pay per use fees. But I think it should be throttle speed. Charge pay per use is for the new package plan. |

I saw that volume quota is 3GB (RM108), 6GB (RM138), 12GB (RM198). Why another plan can let us choose is RM99 with unlimited data access of volume quota? 6GB & 12GB are quite expensive compare to the RM99 unlimited access. Why Maxis got such wired package with abnormal price?
Added on September 22, 2009, 11:20 amI didn't subscribe for the maxis broadband package, i chosen pay per click. I only surf MSN & Google Maps, how come 1 month usage is 39MB and cost me RM390? This post has been edited by rstusa: Sep 22 2009, 11:20 AM |

Anyone knows how good is the wired broadband 1Mbps from Maxis? Do you think it's a good choice over Streamyx? Please speak from your experience

QUOTE(KKW @ Sep 25 2009, 05:38 PM) meaning u can get the speed up to 3.6Mbps but when u reach the volume quota.. correction... no speed capping = as fast as the modem can carry OR the cell tower capasityur speed will throttle to lower speed example: modem can support HSPA and tower also HSPA so you can get UPTO 7.2mbps (like my siggy more than 3.6mbps maa) speed capping is for ADVANCE LITE plan (sim only no modem) or prepaid bb is capped to 3.6mbps only BUT no matter how fast you can go... once over your bandwidth quota hehe |
