yes, you are right. Since kimi's car passed the pits area... so technically the team cant recover the car IIRC

I think Kimi' car is worse than that. I notice the rear left tyre was bent. Maybe suspension broken. Lewis car's aero was gone too apart from suspension.

They would be allowed to lap back later. I don't know how it works, perhaps if the SC is too near, then they close the lane first

Blue : a fast car is approaching on the track, take caution when exiting pit lane (rejoining race track)..

after some people think the blue light is for faster car approaching behind u in pit lane plak

Hamilton front right suspension already kong.. and Kimi's rear left suspension also kong.. how to go n do 1 round n change?

its quite funny, normal race driver can juz exit the pitlane even though there are faster cars coming...
so why under SC when the cars outside are slower, they are not allow to exit?

because they're scared other drivers would do another Hamilton

in normal race also, that Blue light will flash whenever got car pass..

abt the whole red light incident is...

when the SC is out.. it makes all 20 cars go slow and they whole line will be very long...like snake..

so when Kimi/Robert/Lewis entered the pitlane.. the guys at the back just oni turn onto the start/finish straight..

then when kimi/robert ready to come out, under safety car, the rule is, all of the 'Snake' must pass by 1st then oni the guys who pit stop can go out..
im not sure why this rule is set.. my guess is that they dun want the cars who pit stop under SC, to gain advantage and go infrnt of cars in the 'Snake' which not yet stop..

so, thats why the light Red.. if u notice.. just abt 5secs after lewis hit kimi, the light turn green.. coz all of the snake already pass..

if they were just few secs slower, this whole situation would have been avoided..

luckily the one Hamilton crashed is not Alonso...if not i think they will fight straight away on the pit lane...

yeah, he suffered rear suspension damage. Lewis also same case with front suspension...plus I think his rear tyres puncture coz Nico hit him. Both Kimi and Lewis most likely stalled engine at the pits incident, its quite a big crash you know.

About the SC thing, because all cars are not allowed to take over under SC so that's why the guys who pitted will have to wait until all cars cleared then they are allowed to exit the pitlane. That's my view

not all cars , lapped cars (in between the cars on the current lap) may overtake SC

anyway, a lot of pit lane incident since the new stupid SC pit lane rules introduced...
