Smoke signals, classic !
Socom: confrontations ? You have a slot to share lol?
Unfortunately unlike other psn games, you cannot share socom:confrontations. I mean, yes, you can share the copy between 5 other people, but no one can play within 24 hours of the last person who logged in with it (with exception of the master account who bought it), which basically renders sharing games like socom:confrontations and warhawk useless (because they use the same activation crap unfortunately). So far those are the only two games I've come across that do this (I read the disclaimers about activations before even considering a purchase). It's kind of sad but what to do Socom: confrontations ? You have a slot to share lol?
You aren't missing out on much though because that game is hard to connect to and even with the recent update on Jan 13th it's still buggy and laggy as hell hehe but it's a damn kickass game when it works right.

Technically yes, if it is games from the psn store (downloaded games). You could probably find a cheaper ps3, which model is it and what region?oh ya, the PS3 that techasia selling got 1 Free game which is Little Big Planet, free tshirt, 1 Dual Shock Joystick and price at RM 1599 ..

Do not believe anyone who tells you otherwise about running ps3 games (without the bluray disc) on the ps3 (they are most likely referring to downloaded games - so technically they aren't lying, but they aren't telling the full truth either). Although right now there is a usbadvance loader for ps3 to run ps2 backups from the ps3 hdd (currently only working for Japanese 60gig ps3).
PS - do not update to 2.60 firmware yet, wait at least 2 weeks or so (this should be the usual practice between any new firmware update) to see whether it bricks anyones ps3 first. I'm convinced they got this firmware up quickly since the 2.53 update bricked quite a few 60gig and other model ps3's (reminiscent of the botched 2.4x firmware update).
