what brand did your friend use Salamander? At the moment, Prolink brand didn't give me any problem....yet hehe. But i got a few old BlackOut Buster model "kong" in my office. But it didn't fry the pc. Doesn't last long i guess. Post us the brand so we could avoid buying it.
There are cheap models out there. It all depends on how many sockets it provide.

I know you aren't being rude, but I am just bringing up the fact that it isn't a 100% guarantee that your equipment will be 100% safe. Like I always say, it's better to be safe. I do not know which brand my friend was using at the time, but I do know some people who have used belkin surge protectors who have been affected as well. I'm usually on in the dead of the night :> anywhere from 9pm (more likely 11pm) and onwards, latest until around 5am maybe if I was in a good game, but if I'm not on the ps3 then I'm most likely to be on my pc |

Street Fighter HD II REMIX and Tekken 5 DR are downloadable from the PSN STORE. About Soul Calibur IV, its a physical copy only, and you can buy them in stores. Where do u always buy your games?

HAHA WHAT THE HELL!!!! I HEARD THUNDER LIGHTNING IN MY PLACE AS WELL! WE MUST HAVE LIVE CLOSE TO EACH OTHER !
Yeah i would consider rentals as well but rm50 for 3 weeks, its draining my money. Unless i can find a cheaper solution.
