Been to GameStar II at CityMall yesterday. They rent out PS3 games at Rm50 for 3 weeks with Rm300 deposit. I think there's more than 20 different games there. Ps3's at a hefty Rm1899. Mostly sg model.

Rm50 for 3 weeks with Rm300 deposit <-- this is bullshit. Some shops in singapore renting out as low as $1 per day, which means rm30 per month.

@bluedream, Im interested to get RB2, but by looking at the pricetag, rm1200 is abit too much for me as iam a 17 year old student. Buying both ps3 and xbox360 is already over my budget. Paying for another game for 1.2k is radical, i can actually buy another gaming platform, which is the wii with that pricetag

There are alot of forumers here renting out blueray movies and games but I'm not sure how is the rate and charges. But definitely cheaper than rm50 per 3 weeks I guarantee.

ya, forumer ooj also rents out games, i think deposit is rm 180, and got diff diff packages depending how hardcore u play games. i managed to rent Heavenly Sword from him

preferably buy a good game rather than rent it

need ur opinion guys . i saw techasia selling the ps3 from RM 1899 to RM 1599 but no free game only free tshirt . is RM 1599 80 gb still expensive or else ? .. or ripoff price

I think 80GB for RM1599 is quite fair...although I heard you can get 'free games' for that price

Techasia is a commercialized company, which spreads across Semenanjung, which i believe the HQ is in KL, as well as the east coast of Malaysia, which is situated in Karamunsing. So i believe the price is a standard price for all official MALAYSIAN set PS3s even if you get it in TechAsia KL. The price is alright for a 80gb machine but the down side is that, 80gb machines are older revisions and are prone to lens failure if iam not mistaken. If they have the new revisions of 80gb machines, then go GRAB IT!

I could be wrong though. But if you want to buy from KL, 40gb machines which are highly reliable are quoted on rm13XX price range.

which ps3 model that is always prone to yellow error . the 80 gb or the 40 gb .. prolly i singgah at techasia tomorrow . if the ps3 that they selling is the metal gear 4 then i buy . if not then i buy new handphone ..
