first time for me to drive a car with overdrive features..so i'm not so sure what is the correct way to use it...

for those who doesnt know much about overdrive, can refer here :-

despite the info shown above, i'm quite confuse on the overdrive function because :-

1) i have the wrong perception earlier that overdrive is like lower your gear from 3rd to 2nd (for auto) and like 5 gear to 4th gear (in manual). more power and higher rpm when you need to overtake any vehicle in front. in other words, if i'm driving auto, i'm using D gear and when i wanna overtake a car with more power, i'll change to 2 gear. but instead of doing that i will on the "overdrive" and it should have enough power to overtake it.

but with the explanation above in wikipedia, it seems like overdrive is to change from 3rd gear to virtual 4th gear. meaning better fuel saving and lesser rpm.

so am i wrong having my own thinking earlier?

if i am, should i keep the overdrive function ON all the time for myvi auto?

i heard from my friend frequent use of overdrive is not good for the gearbox...
abit confuse alridi...

Hi all.. I am currently looking to buy a second hand Myvi and searching for the range of price. Anyone that can giv me some price range of second hand Myvi.?
From my research, it is around 37-39k for 1.3 for 05/06 Myvi.. Will it be too high ?

Preferably 05/06 - A/M with 1.3. With or without airbag.. And also the loan interest range if i were to take them.. Thx in advance...

Thankz alot sifu tkytky . Out of this 2 places doing the dynamat, which one is better and nearer if from zoo negara . I think2lah if i buy the tail light (the one u give to me the link) i have to spray the black color so that matches with my color then look nice . Lot of work humm. Have to think hard .

hey guys...i got one problem with my myvi...the cd player wont play the cd...at first still ok...the next day i on it keep stuck at track 1 and it dont move...anyone face this problem before?

You tried on other CDs as well?

yup..tried all (original) cd as well...
still the same thing happen...

Send your CD player for warranty claim if problem still prolongs.

If I'm not mistaken, you need to go back to the Perodua Service Centre or maybe any authorized dealer.

omg.... my left auto window got problem!!!!!!! i think it's the wiring problem.... sometimes can windup or down sometime cannot ....

Go back to service centre to claim for warranty. It's a known issue.

I'm still waiting for the spare part to arrive.

If it's within the warranty, you can claim it. Your case is the control on the driver side or passenger side?

Mine happened on the driver side which is called as master control switch. It's my second time!

Second time? omg... this is bad.... hope ur problem can be solved....

At the same switch (there're four swithces) on the same power window.

the cd that have 'eyelash' on the bottom....it looks like mini eyelash except its white..

make sure its cd format not vcd....the player cannot play vcd 1

go to complain and change.

problems end. if persist, insist change.
