I didn't buy, got it as complimentary gift. but i saw the promotion price at digital mall, rm999.00 only. everything is there in the box. i saw it when i was going for a screen protector and capcase cover.

i had been using pda since the day it exist. ranging from 2k-3k i had spent on every models such as dopod, htc and so on.

i find this samsung i780 is ridiculous. it has speed and not laggish (better than my old 838pro), good battery performance (mine lasted 3 day with normal usage, this pda had been with me for 4 days). the internal memory is huge enuff for my program. i like the human interface it came with, the mouse pad rock my world, but i am a bit dissapointed with the gps, i need to use port splitter in order to get the mapking works.

anyway, since 4 days ago, the pda serve me well on my business routine, downloading emails every 2 hours, surfing web (30 minutes perday), listen to music while doing my work (1 hour), also serve as my portable modem....the battery last nearly 3.5days. the keyboard rocks!

if u hate port splitter, go for Garmin. Works seamlessly with the built-in GPS receiver.

this pda phone can install wm 6.5 ? will lag ?

pay a visit to xda, they already have chinese version wm6.5 installed and running smoothly. it is a home cook rom base on 6.5 but unfortunately, it is chinese.

this pda speaker nice ?

speaker are so so only... the best speaker of wm phone that i used b4 is palm treo 750v. even better than most sony erisson phone.

why this phone so less ppl use ?

Promotion for samsung i780 still on? I'm very interest in it.

all sold... u will be very difficult to get it.. My friend also can't able to get it..

there is a password u need to key in in order to adjust the the factory default volume, I can't remember but give it a try at other forum

guys, i think my 780 just bricked or something.

One minute it was ok - was smsing and all, then i pressed the power button to put it on standby. Next thing i know it asks me for an unlock password - which i never set. So i shut it down la, then it wont start up!

anyone else kena like this?

Battery no power? Take out battery and put it back..
if not, try do a hard reset.

to hard reset:
1. Power off the phone
2. Hold down the begin call and end call buttons (green & red)
3. Press and hold the power button
4. Once the phone’s status LED turns red, “RELEASE” the power button but KEEP the other 2 pushed. Very important to do this !!!!!
5. You will get a prompt to press the space key to format, or any other key to continue

Nope - cucuk the power plug also no LED light.

make sure the battery have enough power. Use the external charger to charge it until full...
If it still can't turn on, i afraid yr i780 hv to masuk kilang..

the optical joystick rocks. my friend has it and i played with this optical stick and it felt it was just like some sort of mini-pc expereince.

wanna ask,i've downloaded a few themes from the net and save it to a new folder i created on my 4Gb card but i cant access the new themes in the setting,did i save it wrongly? actually where do i save the new downloaded themes to?

guys, i have problems..

After installing realVGA, i have disabled phone skin (ticked to disable).

But still I cannot make any video call. Tested with another phone side by side earlier and it seems to have 'CONNECTED' (i can see myself on the camera displayed) but the other party camera just shows the spinning image (loading or something) - the other party phone shows 'CONNECTING' and displays a blank video.

IF i enable phone skin, then the other party can video call me, but I can't.

Any solution?

Hi....whats the latest firmware for this phone? I have never updated my phone since i bought it.
