If I were to pick this phone, what's the warranty period like? 12 months or 18 months from FMG? Hmmm..

Last time FMG provide 18 months for all Samsung phones. But now I see some sellers only give 12-months warranty wor. So I'm not sure.

have always been interested in it since I played with one.
lol. but still considering since there are a few things I don't like about it besides the looks and camera.

i've never used clamshell form factor, so i won't know if it like until i try.
what really got me interested is the 2.2" touch screen on the cover. much bigger then the U900 which i'm also interested to get.

btw, i think this phone is easier to take spyshots since you don't need to flip open the phone, unlike sliders.

dude. since you are into samsungs, I guess u must really be into style-over-substance. therefore, g400 > u900. the end.

there's not much of substance in other brands either, within the same price range, that is.
I will give it a try this sunday.

keypad is kinda stiff, reminds me of moto V3, not as bad tho. dpad and the ok button in the middle need some getting use to especially those with big fingers and the phone is big, hard to open and close too for me since im use to slide

i think of all the phones, nokia has the most function with thier symbian OS, SE and moto still pretty much standard, i was tempted to buy SE k850i when it 1st launch since i got jalan for cheap unit, but i gave up the idea once i played with it for 15mins, not much different from my S700i

well in this price range we are getting 2 identical screen but im still hating samsung for cutting it short with the external screen function, reading sms and viewing miss call number isnt tat hard to put in right? and 320x240 video recording is crap!!! hahaha i rather they take away 50mb of space from the internal memory. and mp3 still needed to be in the internal memory for ringtone to work...haih....

hopefully they dont come out with a g400i to add those function in, haha.

yeah, the SE K850 was a major letdown.

yeah...and the camera is so so as well...

just realize u900 price drop till g400 level edi...wow thts kinda fast right? but i think spec wise g400 still better.

lg price kinda stable tho...lg camera department also improve quite a bit this year, but samsung the best so far from review, innov8 is best of the 8mp by gsmarena...

in the office with downlight, g600 didnt do too well, color kinda good, making myself droll only...hahaha

after lunch actually. was out for some errands, seeing that i've the extra time to kill, so just drop by a phone shop to demo the both G400 and U900 at the same time.

the latest SMS sent to you was using the G400.

oh, the pic was taken with the G400 as well. previously using 9300, no camera, no vibrate.

wah sai so envy....mine tomolo going to owner edi...hmmm fast fast sell lah my g600......so cheap no ppl wan...sien

how muchler....? g400 not so boring right compare to u900?

no boring at all, very fun phone to use.

I bought it at "premium price", RM1,499 because of easy payment.
other shops quoted RM1380 cash

anyhow, the g400 is the best looking clamshell at the moment. good choice.
now can show off like that guy in the '24' series.

did u get any free memory card?
chee mun bought about 1-2 months back @ RM1460 with free 4 gig I think.
