Agree. Although I've only played ~2hr and got only 2 (speaking) characters, so far I'm impressed with the VA. No complaints that there is no JP soundtrack cos I won't use it anyway.

Hmm ... but how come my Artes all only 2-3 hit ah ... I vaguely remember previous tales games the combo/special skills got up to 10+ hit one ...

Because you're only 2 hours at the game ?

No Japanese Soundtrack ? I thought there is "one" inside the game ?

As you progress, Yuri can do up to 9 normal combo hit... with artes, a newbie like me can do 200+ with yuri and a few hundreds with rita... some veterans out there can do like 5 digit combo lol...

Anyway I think I just suck at combat ... but the bosses always kick my ass >_< ... I just finished the wolf boss (Gattutso??) but it took me 6 tries lol. Some more on the winning try I habis all my gels and life bottles =_=;;

Then go to that port ... and kena 1 v 3 ambush ... die again ... lol.

That boss is actually pretty challenging for beginners if you didn't grind a lil bit. I myself had some trouble with it but got through after 2 tries.

IMO , free run + manual helps alot .

I think we should ALWAYS play manual for this game. That's the first thing I did when I started the game.

Free running for this boss is good. Don't let him get you to a corner. You should try to push him to one of those flower things for achievement =D

Free running for every boss is good, attack from front + behind with bombardment of spells = easy boss fight. Most bosses can't even retaliate unless they go overlimit.

Oh btw, if you are planning to get most of the stuffs in first play thru, follow the game guide exactly... the game is some what ridiculous because there are a lot of miss-able sub-quests that don't even have a hint for us...

Played one hour of the game and I like it The English voices are not bad but still a bit flat.
