So the battle system is like .hack//?

Im already a little bit bored running the same level over and over again in Too Human, hitting 100 hours of gameplay soon... Vesperia plz!!!

The english dub is ok, not bad. But i still wish there's a japs dub + eng sub option... originality!

Im a newbie to "tales" series... puzzled bout lots of things... already be prepared to play this 3-4 times *faint*

The MAIN question: is there anything miss-able? Especially gears and skills.

I don't think so... i got some skills and items via side quests, so they are definitely miss-able... Even artes are are obtained via usage of other artes also difficult, some need 100 uses of one arte, some need 300 uses of two artes, uh, i definitely have to play more than 2 times to get total completion...

Oh and actually i like the english theme song more than japs!

I feel like getting the damn official guide book also...

Oh and i think i over-leveled my chars also (usual jrpg bad habit ), mobs are easy, even bosses are easy IF NOT trying to score the secret mission...

I actually tried "hard" at the begining and got pwned real hard, so never bother again... I'll play @ hard on the next playthru, where i can concentrate killing mobs/bosses, instead of all those distractions like secret missions, combo count, grade etc etc

Shit this game really affects my sleep time...

As you progress, Yuri can do up to 9 normal combo hit... with artes, a newbie like me can do 200+ with yuri and a few hundreds with rita... some veterans out there can do like 5 digit combo lol...

Free running for every boss is good, attack from front + behind with bombardment of spells = easy boss fight. Most bosses can't even retaliate unless they go overlimit.

Oh btw, if you are planning to get most of the stuffs in first play thru, follow the game guide exactly... the game is some what ridiculous because there are a lot of miss-able sub-quests that don't even have a hint for us...

Crap... missed save point achievement... and judith's spear also...

Gotta farm grade before doing ex new game, it is sooooooooo boring... luckily i have about 10k grade before doing farming... need to farm 8k only, about 2 hours OMGGGGGGG

SM17... Yuri OVL destruction field spam (if you have at least one level of OVL left after yuri PVL, it'll be easier), observe yeager animation CAREFULLY, as soon as you spot he is guard-broken, switch to raven immediately, OVL if you have, spam rain. Position nicely so that raven is facing yeager. However, someone said just OVL rain spam in easy mode will do. I can confirm rain spam doesn't work in normal mode.

The secret mission is like a secret objective, you just unlock it. However, if you unlock all 23 secret missions, you can get a costume title at end game, looks cool too

To switch char, press Y then START. You gotta have the moon selector item though.

It's very useful if you are doing the fatal strike titles for all characters... i reckon everybody must have been super pro in fs with yuri, right? But not all other chars, right? So you can create fs rings with yuri, switch char, trigger fs. Much easier than go and master all 7 chars... or wait the ai to fs.

Or sometimes when you are too lazy to run and smack ranged enemies, switch to karol and speed charge reaper knock, boom!

Urgh... the lvl200 achievement is a b!tch, with 10x experience also taking so long... 50 more levels to go...

After that have to play 2 more times... another 10x exp speedrun to magic lens some monsters and a 0.5x exp low level run for the lvl15 achievement...

Btw i tried 200 man arena @ unknown mode, totally got owned LOL

Synth the knife thing to increase success rate.

Good that i only needed to do about 40min of grade farming... at first end game i had about 10k of grades, need to farm 4k only. You can go gamefaqs.com and check for a auto grad farming guide, yea it's way slower than doing it manually, but at least you can still do your things, sleep and not cacat your thumb.

Yay, last achievement to go, the blasted 100,000km thing, don't know who the hell came up with this idea %(*&^%!

Yahoo, finally 1000/1000. To guys who wants to attempt the 100,000km traveled aka "to points unknown" achievement, be patient... I used my first play thru which was about 125 hours of play time AND it still took me an additional of 9 hours flying with ba-ul, oh gosh

Yes, TOV is 360 exclusive, but not sure ever or timed. Just go youtube or gametrailer.com and watch some gameplay movie, you'll have a clear idea how it plays.

@ nazseha: Phaeroh's Craig... i don't remember there are stones blocking... you can enter it with ba'ul in the field map, fly until you are on top of the stone structure, enter.

As for the stones in your picture, those are aer krene around the world (3 i think), you will need lvl4 sorcerer ring to break them. As for how to get lvl4 ring, you have to get the abyssion from myorza elder first, then go to the aer krene on the four islands.

Well, i can easily chain 100-200+ hits with yuri or repede (and of coz unlimited hits with rita as long as i have the patience...). But judith, i just... don't get it, and also the others, no idea how to chain long combo at all...

To get lvl4 ring, go to myozor (the flying city), get the fell sword from the elder. Then go to the aer krene on four isle to upgrade to lvl4. Then go to the yorzora aer krene to get lvl5.

For the final dungeon lift, the left lift is unlocked once you reached the top thru the direct way; the right lift is unlocked if you take the complicated way (but you can obtain 2 fell weapons and some other weapons that can't be synthesized).
