im not sure its the applying method or what but i know the result is amaze although the reading all are done in room temp (no air cond)... still cant beat fesick temp though

bro, actually okay edi... if i close my side panel, my temp will be around there and all of my test i did with my side panel open...

btw, damn good OC there.... 500mhz is off the hook bro

still not many board can do more then 500mhz right??
anyways what board are u aiming for?? im thinking MARS as it really have good OC capability...

u too?? actually i also pandai pandai wanna touch the heat pipe then ended up getting hurt by the fan blade but just small cut on my knuckle la... not really that bloody la...

actually imo its kinda hard to fry a proc as i seen ppl proc temp hit up to 80 but still okay... usually dont exceed 65c but i myself go up to 70c-71c with my stock intel HSF and my proc still working perfectly now...

MCH=memory controller hub... u may need to increase the volatge of MCH if u wanna go for higher fsb... lets say 500mhz but that doesnt mean u must increase it... some mobo doesnt have to increase the voltage and still hit 500mhz but those case are rare...

btw, if u can try putting two fans and compare it with one fan... that would be even better....

Finally i got some time to get my Xigmatek Red Scorpion Lap.... although the there isn't much temp drop but i think its worth it as its an inexpensive way to get better performance from the Red Scorpion....

For lapping the RS, i start off with 1000grid, continued with 1500grid and several pieces of 2000grid to get better finish... i have to admit that i didnt manage to lap until mirror finish but i did my best to get the best possible finish...

please take note that all test is run the following condition:
Clock Speed: 3.185Ghz
Vcore: 1.337v
Room Temp

yes, i start off with 1000 grid then continued with 1500 grid and i use quite a few 2000 grid sand paper to get the best finish but still cannot get mirror like finish... but anyways flatness is the importance of lapping other than that is just self satifaction imo...

try using everest to see the temp... anyways, imo its quite impossible ur CPU temp is 23c but core temp is around 40-50... my difference betweem core and cpu temp usually doesnt exceed 10c....

even though ur cpu temp reading is not right, i still think that for idle ur core temp is quite high...

actually u can take a look at the chart... even before i lap and with stock TIM, the temp is only around 42c-44c (core temp)....

and 18c when u open case is really impressive... its either ur reading is really faulty or ur room is super cold... thats all i can think for now though... btw what thermal solution are u using??

just a lil to add on... screw in 4 of the screw equally.... that is how i do it...
