i guess it doesnt really matter vertical or horizontal. wat's important is the air is blowing pass the card, keeping the card cool.

usually the fan has 3-pins and it connects to the headers on your motherboard. if your motherboard don't have enough, usually when you buy fans they provide extensions with 4-pin molex which connects to the power supply. it's ok to just put the fan inside without attaching it to anything if you don't move your case. for me i usually put cable ties at 2 corners at least, just to secure it into position.

ooo so wit the extensions i can add as many cooling fans.. but not advisable to put a lot.. later the psu overheat oh?? lol... normally psu can support how many fans?? 3or 4 ok oh?? hmmm now usually mobo got how many headers for cooling fans??

depends how many molex your psu have, but usually fans don't take up much power 3 or 4 is normal i guess. regarding the headers on mobo, depends on what type of mobo. some high end mobos got more than 3 or 4 fan headers. low end ones might have 2 at least. you might wanna limit the number of fans in your casing, you don't want your case to sound like a jumbo jet when it's on laugh.gif

8800 series still a good card at all.

all became to mid-high end sleep.gif

nvm , GTX280 still the best smile.gif

go to SLI zone , so many people use GTX280 SLI or Tri .
Some even GTX280 + 8800GTX Physx ._.
