what i mean is i read somewhere that a certain nvidia card can be use as a physx card and it doesnt need the full pcie x16 slot instead it uses pcie x1 slot only.


or correct me if im wrong....

hilmiangah, y dont u use ur gc to enable it? since ur gc is 9800GT o 8800GT if i not mistaken....that gc is capable run physX....if using pcie x1 it mean it will put down the speed....x1=250..bandwidth...500mb/s....correct me if i wrong....but if using pcie x16 is 8gb/s and pcie x16 2.0 more faster....

If want gaming sold ur quadro FX4600 or FX5600 then you enough money to buy ATI4870X2 or GTX280 or GTX260 SLI

9800GT to GTX260 emm...boost not very much. Wasting money and you need top up so much money enough you get ATI4870 and ATI4870 are more powerful than GTX260 so .....bad choice if upgrade like this. SInce money is on ur side and nvidia fans tehn u choice lu. defeinaly bad way

9800GT still new let say u can sell at RM500 and you still nedd top up RM600 to RM1100 to get GTX260. ATI4870 just need top up rm 450 and performance more better and save up rm150.

yup i think so...btw SLI mobo using ATI 4870 is it sound different? both are different family.. if join together how was the performance?

alot driver issue , heat issue .

HD4870 wont overtake GTX260 by a good margin

go google type , HD4870 problem and GTX260 problem.

Suggest for GTX260 , if can get 2nd hand 9800GX2 @ Rm1k then go for that.

GTX260 vs 9800GX2 how? 9800GX2 have 128 stream processor x2 = 256 whereas the GTX260 have 192...
