QUOTE(yongkailoon @ Apr 18 2009, 10:48 AM) Well, usually for this price tag people will go for Huawei E220. Besides, support for this modem would be easier to get as well since it is widely used. also tell them tat this e220 gets hot after using for sometimes, unlike ZTE MF622 but unfortunately this ZTE is no more in the market here........but second hand unit can be purchase if you try to browse here.......btw, i juz purchase a Huawei E160 usb stick to use on my UM sim and it rocks |

QUOTE(anep @ Apr 19 2009, 03:15 PM) Letter "P" means the device is supporting packet-switch (P) or data services, while letter "C" means supporting circuit switch © services. i noticed tat my dialer only hav the letter P , whereas yours is PC my sim is a data only which i subscribed abt 3 mths ago, is your a sim also a data only? and btw wat theme tat you used on your desktop, it is very informative like having the data statistic of the net and pc figures care to share? thanks |

QUOTE(fruitie @ Apr 24 2009, 02:32 AM) Well, I can be seen at most of the active threads on this section. but if your impending KL residency hav good U's coverage, will u giv it a try @ rm68/mth wif a speed of over 1.3Mbps? It depends but I do most of my surfing at nights and I'm acknowledged by the users' experience that it sucks at nights. So far my DiGi EDGE still serves me well and I can still use this rate until next year's August. I think by then, other providers should have rolled out their attractive plans. remember your leaching activities will be VERY much enhanced |

QUOTE(fruitie @ Apr 24 2009, 02:46 AM) I cannot deny the fact that the rate is very attractive for the speed that I'll be getting. most probably yes However, if I cannot surf the Internet at night, I will be freaking annoyed. Imagine, after a tiring day at office from 8.30 a.m.-5.30 p.m., I am so excited to login to LYN or Facebook for my daily Internet dose but due to the users congestion issue, it has totally stopped for doing so. Anyway, my Streamyx account in hometown will be terminated by June because nobody will be there to use it. Of course, U- Mobile will be in my top list when I reside in Klang Valley. I'll be residing at areas somewhere in PJ, are these areas covered by U-Mobile HSDPA? u still nid 2 sim when u are in KL one is for during peak hour ( digi's EDGE ) one is for downloading wif blazing speed ( UM ) all in its much cheaper of maintaining a single D98 fr SIAL |

QUOTE(fruitie @ Apr 24 2009, 02:58 AM) Yeah true. I still need to maintain my DiGi EDGE SIM card to be used when back to good old PD. then i will register one for under my name Yeah, I will take this advice into serious consideration. I heard the only hassle of this U-Mobile registration is I need to go all the way to BTS to register? actually its easy to go to BTS if you are ady in KL........use your netbook and Edge connection via google map to "walk " you there ( poor man/lady GPS ) |
