QUOTE(Omnipotent @ Jul 12 2010, 08:18 AM)
the torque convertor is on the opposite end of the GB oil sump, there's a drain plug to release oil as well. normally when changing ATF oil, my foreman will unscrew this plug and further drain the ATF. gasket leak can either be caused by:-

- physical damage such as oil pan hitting the ground when driving over speed bumps
- using non ori gaskets
- did not use gasket sealants when installing new gasket
- did not install the oil pan properly (gasket slipped out of place during installation or not screwed tightly)
high pressure will not cause gasket to leak (for normal wear and tear) because any pressure buildup will be released from the ATF dipstick inlet (happened to mine)
*
very clear explanation. but i never hit anything when i drive my car. rclxub.gif

is just curios y suddenly me car GB got oil leak. makes me worry. sad.gif

also my foreman said when he put out the GB oil stick. got bit oil split out from the inlet. it tis means life spend of the GB almost finish?

thanks in advance
*
hey bro. curious bout ur posting. y u have a planning for the engine overhaul? just go n find a used car lot or private seller with a tip top engine & GB will do. v6 engine is long lasting bro. accept the GB only. but if u dun whack it then will b fine also.

u can retrofit the projectors.
a forumer here done it.
a fren of mine made several angel eye + projector headlights for sale (using r32 projector if im not mistaken la..)

retrofitted projector + angel eye is fine, but HID is not.
so i dono if JPJ will saman u or not...

but if i got the money, i'd do the demon eyes headlights.
awesome look bro.........
*
but as far i know. our headlamp only can fit in 2.5" inch projector lens. coz been mod b4 & the guy told me tat cannot fit in bigger as the space is not enough for it.

mayb u can modified the BMW headlamp into ur car tongue.gif . same with 1 guy i saw last time mod Harrier headlamp into his Atos. thumbup.gif thumbup.gif

Shiok meh using NGV ? Got power or not ? Careful buddy nanti blow up on you hehehehe
*
using NGV not syok on power la. but syok n monthly saving la. pump in Rm10 can travel up to 180km. thumbup.gif thumbup.gif

blow up? do u read those news?

all case blow up has been confirmed is coz by those own modification. many out there blow up coz they modified their own tank n using the non-approve tank on their vehicle. go for the licensed installer n use JPJ SIRIM approved tank. sure no problem. icon_rolleyes.gif icon_rolleyes.gif

my father & his fren last time also using NGV. running on it bout 2yrs+ also nothing goes wrong. tongue.gif tongue.gif

No oomph la without the full power but the savings is a great thing la. Is refueling a problem ah ? Everytime i see those taxi queuing up like mad to refuel. If like that big headache la. How much was your conversion. Does it take half the boot ah ?
*
refueling not problem as the pump pressure as quick enough to fill up the tank. i did the conversion on Mixer type bout RM3800. also i asked bout sequential is bout RM7000. the tank using 77L sure will eat half of the boot space. thumbup.gif thumbup.gif

saving is the main purpose. brows.gif brows.gif

What's the difference of Mixer and sequential ?
*
mixer type, the gas go in with the air filter hose (after the air filter sensor). loss much power & need a good tuner so tat it will not happen back fire.

sequential type, make a small hole n go in direct from ur manifold. loss bit power n gas level control by the NGV computer.

if from eterna or galant, it is plug and play. u just need the caliper and disc. no need hub and knuckle.
there are 4 lugs and 5 lugs hubs (depends from which model of eterna or galant u get).

u using 4 lug rite?
if u get 4 lugs, plug and play the disc.
if u get 5 lugs, just send it to engineering shop and tebuk the disc brake.

ABS also functioning..
more grip in braking, brake pad more expensive.
*
hey bro, r u mentioning tis 1?

http://www.mudah.my/Twin+pot+perdana+v6-7224745.htm

where should i get the brake pad incase they dun have any to come with. dunno wat size of it also.
